This is the third time we've been to Gurkha Kitchen and it really doesn't disappoint. The service is excellent and the food superb... lots of variety and some unusual nepalese dishes which are well worth a try. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay till the end of the meal as I wasn't very well ( hideous morning sickness - nothing... More

Another Nepalese restaurant I love to dine in.Food at this place is awesome . Been a few times during the week which is normally very quiet but at the sametime you not waiting too long for your service . So many dishes & they have all been excellent .. Plenty of parking space which is a plus for big groups... More

The Sunday buffet was remarkably good, with a variety of tasty dishes on offer. We tried as many of these as we could, but were beaten into submission by full tummies. A wonderful array of starters, too plus Gurkha beer to wash it all down with. We will be back soon! The food was also superb value, under a tenner... More

Went again this week after a gap of many months. I cannot praise the quality and quantity of the food enough. It really is excellent. The prices are very low for the quality of the food.

The vegetarian set meal is great value. After a couple of visits it has become a rake away treat for us and lasts for 2 meals.

Our review is long overdue to be honest. We've eaten at Gurkha several times mainly takeaways and once in the restaurant and each time after our last mouthful we've said 'we've got to write a review' so here I am after taking half hour to remember my trip advisor password, spreading the Gurkha love. You'd be forgiven for hesitating when... More

Gurkha Kitchen. The name itself suggests 'Gurkhas' who are from Nepal. However the food here are not authentic Nepalese food. Anyone who has been to Nepal or who is from Nepal knows that the food sold here is not very nepalese. I am not saying the food is not good but just saying that is not Authentic Nepalese. The most... We went on Mothering Sunday and had a table booked for 12 o'clock and when we arrived our table wasn't set and food was still being put out. There wasn't a lot of choice, think there was about 8 tray of different curries, rice and other little bits. When staff came to the table they were friendly and brought 3... More
