I had the most pleasant experience at Anokhi. I had not planned my visit there it was a spur of the moment thing and didn't have a table booked, anyway we arrived at the restaurant and we're very pleased with the overall look decor and ambiance. We were greeted Very politely by Young stunning woman and taken to our table... More

A cut above the usual Indian restaurant, this was something special. The decor was smart and minimal. The friendly waiter explained they had a two for one offer which made our meal very affordable. The food presentation and flavour was beautiful, and the complementary extras of poppodoms and pickles, and then various mints and chocolates, were a nice touch. We... More

Went there with a friend for dinner as we were looking for something different. There was no one at the door to sit us and when finally someone came over there was no "hello, good evening", the waiter just waved at us and told us to come. We were sat on a table that wasn't set properly, was under the... More

It was our first visit on the way to the arena, we received a great welcome and popodoms and dips were set out on the table ready to tick into. Service was very quick and the food was lovely, very tasty and plenty of it. I had desi lamb which I hadn't had before and will certainly have again. Will... More

Having been recommended to go by a client, I realise she my be confused as to what a good Indian restaurant is. The food had flavour I'll give it that. The portion size was tiny. The meat was cheap, chewy and one dish that was on the bone, was 80% bone. We told the waiter who cleared the plates, and... More

Food is average and service is mediocre. They are quick and happy to great you but soon forget about you once you are seated. The ambience is weird, the restaurant is quite small and on the night we went they had a networking meeting which made getting to the bar / toilet difficult because of the crowd. My husband found... We visit Anoki Nottingham for the first time as an early dinner before to go to the Arena and my general experience has been successful. A lovely welcome from the hostess at the front door, a nice bowl of warm poppadum was offered. Food and beverage order taken and served promptly. The cuisine is high quality. My Special Mix Balti... We visited Anoki and hope it will be the first of many visits. We just wish it was closer to home. We couldn't fault it in any way, the food and service were excellent. We were made to feel special and everyone was very friendly and efficient.

Forget everything that you know about British Indian restaurants and try this place out! Food and service is always incredible, i can firmly say this is our local! Its quite funny, the hubby has never enjoyed Indian cuisine till we came to Anoki. You will be paying a little bit more then your average take away but the quality speaks... More
