I visited here earlier in 2014, spent 10 minutes queuing, but got to look at the large choice of food and cakes on offer. It was very busy inside and there were no tables spare. It was cold outside but we chose to have a sandwich and sit out there. Lovely food and cakes to go! Will be returning!

Recently visited for a work Christmas dinner and was struck by how cosy and cute this little place was! We had a delicious cocktail with jewels of pomegranate seeds, baked pesto salmon with lots of veggies and yummy desserts. The food was not mass produced and made with care & love. Can't wait to return for lunch and a cake... More

Well... a bit unsure, I don't know what I expected really having read the reviews I had really high expectations....not really overly impressed ..the food was nice enough but I felt it was a bit expensive. (Saying that, I suppose the ingredients are not cheap.)I wouldn't say I would not go again ..I would...but I wouldn't rush or recommend it... More

We had a lovely lunch here on an over night stay. Salmon and prawn salad, (sadly no prawns left,) but a lovely amount of smoked salmon, with lovely salad leaves and a lovely drizzle of oil. With a side salad of garlic chiabata with melted cheese. The atmosphere was a little confusing, very loud music, a sort of bistro style... More

Mmmmm...homemade makes me happy! Everything about it is lovely. I think a place that make fresh veggie/vegan stuff on the high street is such a rarity in the times of Wetherspoons and Greggs. The staff her were very helpful, especially the tattooed lady with short blonde hair. I took ages to decide but she was patient and helpful. A must... More

This place is always a favourite and on Saturday it was no different. It's cosy, so get used to the idea of squeezing past other tables and chairs! I had lunch here with my husband and a friend and as always, we had to queue. We were put off trying here for a long time because every time we peeked... More

The food is really good here but seriously the service needs some work. I saw a group across from me wait nearly 15 minutes for a cappuccino - the irony is they were sat opposite the machine! We waited the same amount of time for someone to take our order. Which just isn't good enough in a cafe.

An old friend was visiting Nottingham and suggested brunch. I'd never been to Homemade before for brunch (but am the biggest fan of their cakes) but it was excellent. I had the med breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. The brown doorstep bread was perfectly toasted, piled on top was rocket, prosciutto, cooked tomatoes and the best scrambled eggs I've ever... More

Nottingham has lots of fantastic cafés and restaurants and Homemade is certainly one of the best. Having been there numerous times for their sandwiches and salads on my lunch break, for a change myself and my boyfriend opted to go for breakfast and we weren't disappointed! We were seated immediately and after making our choices of full homemade breakfast and... More
