A pleasant door step sandwich and amazing cakes. Not sure what other people are moaning about. Reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere

Staff is not smiling. Brownie was very hard, impossible to eat with a spoon. Wedges' aspect was a pretty good sign that oil bath needs to be changed and cleaned. Goats' cheese and butternut salad did not match the description : There was no couscous to be seen, there was ONE seed of pomegranate and onions were not caramelized but... More

Really nice atmosphere, very cool. Service slow but it is usually very busy. A little bit on the pricey side. Food is good, simple sandwiches and meals done well although the cakes which look spectacular are actually just OK. Would definitely visit again but a little overhyped based on other posted reviews

Good local brand is this. One in sherwood is nice too. Good cakes and coffees. But went to the forest rec one recently and they had lit candles on all but one table. In the middle of the afternoon. We had kids with us and I was nervous. Silly idea. Forest is a lively sute though. Visit it of u... More

Four of us went with baby in pushchair on a Saturday lunchtime, it was busy. It is not a large place and seating is quite close. The staff were friendly and accommodating, offering a high chair. Good selection of food on the menu and cakes on a specials board. The food is freshly made and arrived promptly. The lovely sandwiches... More

Visit Homemade, after a friend told us about it, the service was great nice friendly staff, and we could also sit out side in the nice weather, we ordered 2 coffees and 2 slices of cake, the cake was really nice, unfortunately it was let down by the coffee, served to us in paper take away cups, and did not... Opted for a very late lunch at Homemade. Had a lovely sandwich of crusty bread, tomoto chutney and applewood cheese. Unfortunately the brownie was hard and stale. Homemade pride themselves on their brownies so this was a let down. Strangely none of the cakes in the window display were covered by glass cases - spotted one lucky fly making giddy... More

Seems to be some confusion on the reveiews here, this is for for Homemade in Nottingham city centre. Came in for a late lunch, the food was good if somewhat on the pricey side I thought.Pretty busy but our meals came out promptly. Service pleasant but a bit scatty, asked for no tomatoes on salad so got extra? Colouring books... More

My partner and myself decided to go here for breakfast this morning. We ordered two big breakfasts and two lattes and the total came to just over £22. The food and coffee itself was lovely. However, wheelchair access was appalling. There was a flat doorway into the cafe but we should have took the hint when the staff started to move... More

Great setting, great refurbishment but the customer service is poor. The first time I went, it took almost 30 minutes to get a simple order of tea and coffee delivered to the table, and even then they got that order wrong. But because the cafe had just opened, we gave it the benefit of the doubt. The second time I... More
