An old friend was visiting Nottingham and suggested brunch. I'd never been to Homemade before for brunch (but am the biggest fan of their cakes) but it was excellent. I had the med breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. The brown doorstep bread was perfectly toasted, piled on top was rocket, prosciutto, cooked tomatoes and the best scrambled eggs I've ever... More

Nottingham has lots of fantastic cafés and restaurants and Homemade is certainly one of the best. Having been there numerous times for their sandwiches and salads on my lunch break, for a change myself and my boyfriend opted to go for breakfast and we weren't disappointed! We were seated immediately and after making our choices of full homemade breakfast and... More

My friend and myself were on a shopping trip in Nottingham today - we were very short of time and, hearing good reports about this place, decided to order a take out salad for her and sandwich for me to eat 'on the run' I watched as the young assistant assembled my friend's salad literally 'by hand' scooping out the... Having visited before I was looking forward to our visit however after today I will never be returning again! We visited on a Monday lunchtime and all of the seats inside were full so took a place in the queue for inside seats. Two couples were seated before us (although they arrived after) and then a table of three left... More

Fully recommend this place! Great veggie choices too! The Veggie breakfast is spot on, and they are very attentive!

Nice little place tucked away. Great food and very pleasant staff. Cakes to die for and good helpings of nice, tasty food. One gripe and it's only minor but a pot of tea would be good instead of the growing habit of popping a teabag in a cup. Well worth a visit and one of favorite little foodie places in... More

I love this place - just wish I could get away with enjoying more of their cakes, etc! Have had lunch here a couple of times now and not been disappointed: good choice, great portions and reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly and, well, there's CAKE!

The cakes at this place are next level, worth a visit alone! I didn't think much to the tiny, cramped Pelham Street cafe, but the Forrest Recreation Ground site is miles better! Decent day we visited, so we were able to sit out in the sun. Ended up having a fish finger sandwich that was spot on, huge too (see... More

A pleasant door step sandwich and amazing cakes. Not sure what other people are moaning about. Reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere

Staff is not smiling. Brownie was very hard, impossible to eat with a spoon. Wedges' aspect was a pretty good sign that oil bath needs to be changed and cleaned. Goats' cheese and butternut salad did not match the description : There was no couscous to be seen, there was ONE seed of pomegranate and onions were not caramelized but... More
