The Creamy Coffee Pot was our favourite place for coffee & scones. Unfortunately Sonia was having problems over the lease and we see that it is now closed. Hopefully Sonia will find somewhere else and reopen The Creamy Coffee Pot. In the meantime, don't be tempted by Costas or Nero - the best scones (and coffee) in Hexham are to... More

Walked past this shop today........it looks as though it may have gone bust! There is a sign on the building offering the premises on a lease.

Its easy to miss this little cafe tucked as it is down one of Hexhams cobbled back streets. And when you find it, well it looks like a small local cafe. But looks are decieving and while it is small it is almost perfectly formed. The food is all home made, and when I say that I mean yes it... More

The only thing that had ever disappointed me about the place is the quiche it wasn't cooked properly and soggy but still a delicious taste as... More

Tucked away just off the main street is this little cafe. Nice home made things like scones, jams, chutneys etc. A nice cup of coffee for me and a really fancy hot chocolate for my wife. Service comes with a smile and a little chat. 5 or 6 customers meant a lot of work for only one employee to cope... More

My wife, 1 year old son and I stopped into this cafe yesterday. When we are away we like to find local cafes for coffee rather than go to the drab national chains. This coffee shop is one of the best, it is small and the coffees or hot chocolate we had take there time to arrive, but this is... More

Excellent food and coffee, particularly the scones. A comfy sofa, very welcoming and well worth searching out down a side street.

I visited the Creamy Coffee Pot on a day out with my mother and grandmother. A cute little cafe with a homely feel to it. The coffee was lovely and the food was amazing! all hand made, my grandmother had a home made vegetable soup with home made bread and my mother and I had a panini and quiche. I... More
