Situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside 2 miles from Althorp House, the ancestral home of Diana, Princess of Wales. A traditional village inn with character and charm. We are a privately owned and run free house with a selection of well kept real ales and lagers plus an extensive wine list. Runners-up in the Northamptonshire Food & Drink Awards 2009. A great place to spend a lunchtime or evening.

This is my second visit to this pub. The menu isn't extensive and the portions are not enormous but what you get is freshly made to a very high standard and presented beautifully. There is a small portion option against certain meals, not sure what you would get if you opted for this as we aren't big eaters but felt... More

This traditional pub and restaurant is located in the quiet village of Little Brington. At the rear is a large car park overlooking fields and a large sitting out area. They offer a good range of beers including Greene King IPA plus a moderately priced menu; budget on about £25-30 per head for a three course meal plus drinks. There... More

We picked this place as a mid-point to meet relatives, on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews and one of the few pubs in that area offering food on a monday lunchtime. The beer (Landlord) was well kept, the food was excellent and the staff friendly and efficient. The red telephone box in the pub was a bit of a... More

We chose this restaurant for a lunchtime visit due to its proximity to Althorp and were not disappointed. The lunch menu has a wide range of food on offer, from a hot pork bap to 21 day old steak, catering for a wide range of tastes and wallets. We chose Caesar salad, sea bream and prawn salad and posh ham... More

We were searching for a sat night family meal and came here, no one was disappointed, we only had a drink and mains but everyone got what they wanted. The food was well prepared and presented and cooked right. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The surroundings were pleasant too to we'd come back

Only came as I heard the food was reasonable and it was dog friendly, a combination that's hard to find around here. The food was much better than we expected especially the pork main, and they even managed to elevate ham egg and chips to something special. Nice looking interior, outside seating and a good selection of beers. Although it's... More

Delicious meal with friends on Saturday evening. The menu was fabulous with food and service to match. So often it's easy to be disappointed by so called gastro-pubs but the Saracen's Head lived up and exceeded expectations. We will be returning.

My husband and I took our father for a meal and we had a really lovely relaxing evening. The staff were very friendly and the service absolutely spot on. We were spoiled for choice with the menu and the food was gorgeous...as well as being very well presented! This quaint pub had a lovely ambience and I'm looking forward to... More

The food at this old-fashioned pub was delicious, with staff very attentive and helpful and willing to fine-tune our orders, including cooking coeliac portions separately in some cases. A most enjoyable family meal in a pleasant rural setting.
