We have eaten here twice now and both times the food and service has been excellent. Had the special risotto stuffed red peppers last night - one of the best meals I have had for a while. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Even though we hadn't booked we waited less than 15 mins for a table.

Friends wanted to take us for a walk. We went here for a drink after and sat in the sun overlooking the pond/lake. It is located next to the Northampton & Lamport Railway so is an ideal location for train enthuasts. Food looked good and seemed reasonable. Drinks were also reasonable although the range of beers was not as good... More

Brampton Halt, advised to booked glad I did for dinner. There was a wedding part. Hen parties, what a great atmosphere. It started getting very busy. Wine & soda got by mistake, staff changed it without a problem. Food was good. Staff were attentive and kept busy to please customers. Husband said the beer was good. Bombardier. Would go again... Lovely pub picturesque but modern. Stayed in the hotel next door but too expensive to drink so was very happy to see this was crawling distance from it. We're not disappointed at all. Nice wine and real ales. We had fish platter meat platter really nice. Thoroughly recommend it.

I have been here a few times, as it is conveniently located near one of our favourite dog walks, and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly, it's got a great menu and lovely views.

the area is lovely to sit outside, with nice views. however a little bit busy for us, we prefer more peace and quiet. the staff were very accomodating and friendly, we ate inside , but enjoyed a drink outside in the sunshine. would be advisable to book a meal before you go, the food was pleasant, but that is all,... Again we were tipped about this place and we were not disappointed. The property is rather large with loads of outside seating the menu is also large and varied and very reasonably priced. The scenery here is lovely. The property looks out onto a little lake and the stunning Northamptonshire countryside. On the weekend we called in there was a... More

Hadn't been to this pub for a few years, so we were keen to give it another try. We started off outside, but due to strong gusts of wind, we decided to eat inside, only to find there was no room due to people booking. Having not been for a while, we had no idea this was the case and... More

We went for an evening meal mid week. The pub is a favourite of ours as we live locally and often take a walk there with the dog and sit outside. The service can vary as it does get very busy. The menu is varied, catering for most. One thing we always find is that the portions of chips with... More

Met up with a friend for lunch, the setting is lovely overlooking open countryside and nearby the Brampton train line as the name suggests. The menu was fairly varied although if you only want a light lunch and trying to cut down on your bread intake, like me there isn't a lot of other options like salads. Busy as you... More
