Despite going here for lunch at a busy time, we sat in the bar and ordered our food, which arrived in an acceptable time. We had a couple of staples off the menu (burger & salad). Went on a Saturday night and really enjoyed the food. Extensive and varied menu, good selection of wines and beers. Portions were quite large and all food was hot. I must say the service both at table and bar was very attentive despite being very busy. I would advise booking at peak times. Will definitely be back.

Tried the halt after over year, due to having a poor meal there, happy to say the food & the menu have improved. Would recommend it now.

We visited with 6 other friends having book a table, The staff were very good, the food came all at once, the atmosphere was just right. We all had a good time and will return. Well done Tom you are running a wonderful establishment. Good Luck.

Only popped in for a drink, but oldie-worldie pub and friendly staff. Half pub / half restaurant but didn't eat here
