A truly nice place to eat in York, nice old building with interesting decor, loved the posters, breakfast was superb, and proper toast, very friendly staff, thoroughly recommended.

A fabulous find! Two of us ate here on New Year's Day for breakfast. Fantastic service. Delicious food. The Lady manager was fantastic, in fact all staff were. Reasonable priced, would visit again! Thank you.

As a student at University of York, I once again brought my family here when they brought me back up after the Winter Break. We were seated upstairs and had wonderful views of the street below and various medieval-style buildings. The food and service, as always, was perfect, leaving my family once again very impressed! The owner of the cafe... More

We visited here again thanks to our son who is studying at York University. Whenever we visit we call into Georginas and have to say we are never disappointed. The greeting, service and food are second to none. I no longer worry about our son going hungry as I know he can always pop into Georginas and be so well... More

Maybe its because me and my two friends who accompanied me to Georgina's are all the age of 20 and don't look like the regular sort of clientele in this cafe, but not one of us enjoyed our experience here. To begin with, the member of staff who greeted us at the door seemed bored and like she had something... More

We stopped here for a quick bite and a cuppa. Beautiful inside, we opted to sit in the window to people watch, great fun. The sarnies were really good and the tea hot, what more do you need? Great staff, great fast service and a really friendly atmosphere.

We stopped by for tea and cake. Yorkshire tea was delicious and cakes come in big portions. Everyone was very attentive so we give an extra star for the service!

On a clod day in York the stop was most welcome. An old building with up stair seating in addition to the ground floor. We were upstairs where it was signed as uneven floors; there were lots of steps up and down especially at door posts and the floor was uneven. The place was extremely busy and the vast majority... What a lovely little gem set in the heart of York. We were looking for breakfast on a wet morning recently on a visit to our favourite city. We came across Georgina's by accident and were so pleased that we found it. Upon entering we were greeted with a cheery smile from the pleasant waitress and our order was taken... More
