We were initially worried they wouldn't let us eat breakfast as we only arrived 5-10 mins before they stopped serving breakfast, however the waitresses welcomed us kindly. I had the veggie brunch option (delicious scrambled eggs with mushrooms and chives on toast). Gorgeous food, friendly staff. Thank you.

Just happened upon this as wanted afternoon cake in a café that wasn't our home town. What a brilliant find. Staff who served us was lovely. Lovely selection of cakes, and a lovely coffee. Definitely one to recommend.

We stumbled on this place after visiting York Minster and were desperate for a cuppa. It was late in the afternoon when a lot of other places were closing but the staff made us feel very welcome. My friend and I bought had fantastic sandwiches, followed by cake and tea and truly fresh and scrumptious they were. Will visit again!

Very good place for lunch, very generous portions and very good food. Would happily go back for tea as the cakes looked spectacular

We booked well in advanced for our trip to York and picked Georgina's as it seemed very reasonably priced. We got there a little early and although busy downstairs staff were happy and friendly. We were shown to our seats up stairs next to the window, which was lovely to people watch from. We all had a full afternoon tea... More

We stopped by for a cuppy and cake. The tea and coffee was lovely. Hubby just managed to finish his Coffee and Walnut cake, I slowly munched my way through a Scone with clotted cream & jam. Who needs a full lunch when you're on holiday? I was disappointed when I noticed the dust on the Venetian blinds in the... More

We called in here for lunch on a Saturday. There were no tables free but we were seated at the breakfast bar/stools which was fine. We ordered a cheese and caramelised chutney and tuna mayo sandwich. Both were served on fresh granary bread with plenty of filling, salad and crisps. The service was quick and efficient. A nice little find.... More
