Great lunch

We called in here for lunch on a Saturday. There were no tables free but we were seated at the breakfast bar/stools which was fine. We ordered a cheese and caramelised chutney and tuna mayo sandwich. Both were served on fresh granary bread with plenty of filling, salad and crisps. The service was... read more

Had a lovely afternoon tea here for a hen do. Sandwiches were delicious - especially the Camembert and red berry ones! Scones were also brilliant and so many cakes to choose from. The room was made to look lovely. All dietary requirements also catered for. Recommend!

Visited here last Sunday.I've been here many times and have never been disappointed. Whether its for a coffee and a delightful cake of breakfast, or a light meal its always been superb. The service is excellent and the staff bend over backwards to help. The food is an excellent standard and beautifully presented. Top marks all round

We visited this cafe yesterday lunchtime, mainly because I had read they served gluten free food and had good reviews. Not sure what happened with us - mabye we just caught them on a bad day! When we arrived, we waited to be served, and although there were waitresses around, not one acknowledged us. I eventually asked about gluten free... More

Quaint restaurant/cafe. Art Deco styling. My favourite is Chilli con Carne over chips, served in bowl with Guacamole and Sour Cream. I always have the small portion as the servings are quite generous. Roasted Butternut squash salad is also a favourite. The cakes are to die for. Very busy at lunchtimes, but worth the wait. Good service. Upstairs is a... More

Staff where happy to help as soon as me and my boyfriend walked in and scones were massive well worth money! Only thing is we had to ask for another pot of tea as we only got one and ordered two but just had to ask & staff brought it over straight away! Would visit again!

Visited Georgina's after being recommended by a local. The building is full of charm and history. With so many tea rooms and cafes to choose from we would have struggled to find a nicer place. Our first visit was late afternoon for tea and cake which was both refreshing and delicious and in abundance. After looking at the menu we... More

Had the posh afternoon tea which included a glass of prosecco. The food was lovely and the atmosphere nice. The waitress was very accommodating when we asked if we could change a couple of the sandwich fillers. Would go back again.
