This was my second visit to this cafe within 12 months, the first time I visited was Xmas and I couldn't wait to go back for more Victoria sponge! . I wasn't disappointed on my return , the cafe was as friendly as ever and my cake was delicious, but slightly drier than I'd remembered, nice though . My friend... More

This is a pleasant cafe, we just stopped here for a quick coffee as we were passing. The staff are nice and friendly and the cakes on offer looked splendid. All homemade and if we hadn't just eaten we would have had one. The coffee was nice and we would go back again.

Me and my daughter had a shopping trip in york on saturday. We had intended on visiting bettys tea room, but decided against this once we saw the crowds queing outside. A lot of japanese tourists didn't appear to mind this. But we did, it wasn't as if there wasn't anywhere else to eat! We'd actually saved money as it... More

What a fantastic place this is. I booked this café for afternoon teas at quite short notice (3 weeks) as I was let down by another well know café. They were very accommodating. I emailed Sharon about booking a table and the reply was straight back. They could fit 12 of us in at such short notice. We plotted and... More

A gem; we chose a selection of “small plates” and were very pleasantly surprised at the quantity and quality for the very reasonable cost. We were so pleased that we returned again during our short visit to York.

I visited Georgina's in York August 1st with my ten year old granddaughter who has recently been poorly. My tea was lovely, my scone huge. My granddaughter could not drink much of her apple juice so the very kind waitress put it into a cup that we could take away with us. Pleasant service, nice food and very helpful.
