Called in for lunch on Saturday, warm welcome, friendly and attentive staff and a good choice of food. I had the Chicken and Chorizo risotto which was perfectly cooked, my wife had the Tomato and Mozzarella ciabata which was also very good. We would definitely go there again.
Went for a meal last night, (17th), we have been many times before. Ordered the slow roasted pork but it was very fatty, not at all crispy definitely not slow roasted, I mentioned it to the waitress who didnt seem at all interested, she simply said sorry and took it away. In York for business, it was my first weekend away from my husband since being married and I had been wandering around York looking for somewhere for dinner when I happened upon Ate O clock and thought I would take my chances on getting a...

A really nice place dine. We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary there on sat. We were booked in at 6.30 and as they needed the table for 8 we got a complimentary glass of house wine(nice touch). The place has a really nice atmosphere and the service was polite and punctual. For our mains we had the pork and the...

This restaurant came recommended by a local. I was not disapointed, the service was exemplary and the food sublime. This was an anniversary meal that will be hard to follow.
Quite often, when a restaurant strives to get the look right, and the menu, something is often missing, or goes wrong. This place ticks all the boxes; quirky surroundings with...

If this restaurant has a single liability, it is that it attempts to make the best possible presentation of what has to be among Europe's worst cuisine -- British food is typically overcooked, bland, uninspiring, and tasteless. After Fish and Chips -- which they can do quite well -- it goes quickly downhill. So it was our good fortune to...

Quirky menu , but everything we had was really tasty . Very friendly and efficient staff , good priced wine . Some of the food is very different but worth trying - the ice cream , expresso and liquer dessert and the Duck tri should not be missed . Great place
Staff always extremely friendly and attentive. Both the food and the atmosphere 10/10 every visit. Would and already have been back!!
