The best platter!

I've eaten at Mannion & Co twice very recently & both times have been really lovely! I had the grazing board for two with my boyfriend on both occasions & it is DELICIOUS! Just had lunch here on our first visit to York and we were not disappointed! You may have to wait 10-15 minutes for a table but it is definitely worth it, the food is delicious and very fresh. We decided to have some scones after our sandwiches and they were probably the best we have ever tasted! If you are... More

Went a week or so before getting. Married on the recommendation of my uncle from York. Had a lovely afternoon tea it was very nice but not the best I've ever had. The place was very busy and I don't think we got the best seat in the place but it was still enjoyable and didn't break the bank. Anywhere... More

Had lunch today and it was really lovely! We shared a platter which consisted of meats, cheeses, bread, dips, olives, capers..and more! Very busy on a beautiful day but staff dealt with the pace with flair and attention. Didn't have room for puddings but looked delicious! Worth seeking out, will return for sure next time we are in York!

Freshly baked yummy goodness, brilliant cakes and startlingly good bread. Unfortunately the service here is dire. Some of the staff are very unfriendly and brusque, they rush you around as if you're in the way by being there. It's a shame because they have great food. Please improve customer service.

Mannion and co do really good coffee, rich without being bitter, and served in the right size ( i.e. small) cups. It's a little bit expensive, but so good that it's worth it. Cakes are excellent, too. Decor is standard independent coffee shop (those apparently old, distressed wood tables...yawn) but don't let that put you off. Also, don't be put... More

I've had a huge meringue and other sweets to take away - very tasty. Will be back for more! Staff was smiling and friendly.

we planned to eat at Mannion and Co after reading other peoples reviews. We where not disappointed. We ordered the cheese and meat platters and a tea. The tea came so quickly and served in cute little tea pots and the food wasn't far behind. it was a WOW moment looking at the food and we dived in. Lovely ladies... More

What a lovely little place this is. Very small place, only few tables but worth the wait. Had a lovely grazing board to share, bread, oil, various cooked meats, various cheese, chutney, pickles, olives and sun-dried tomatoes. Very reasonable price, great service in the lovely city of York, will defo visit again!!!!
