My brother and I took our Dad out for a Father's Day dinner in this restaurant. It is a small family run business with fantastic Sardinian food and a great atmosphere. The only off putting thing was a very large TV in a very small space. However the World Cup was on and I don't know if the TV was... More

What can I say, perfect in every way. I was 30 mins late and even though the place was fully booked they still saved are table :-) I asked the waiter/ owner, I think. Sound I have fillet steak with a sauce £23 or the pasta with fillet steak £18. The owner didn't ask how I like my steak to... More

We visit York annually and over the years have tried many of it's fine restaurants. This Sicilian was outstanding. The place itself is basic, crowded and I think tables over 6 would be tricky, the sports mad staff (Juventus is the favourite team) have the TV on with Italian Sky sports. Our table wasn't quite ready so we retired to... More

Could have eaten the entire menu...this is the most authentically Italian experience I have had outside Italy. Cooking with a sure hand and some delightful touches. Prices fair and the wine list short but excellently priced. Five stars plus

Great food, wonderful service, and attractive prices. The place is small, so make sure you have a reservation. And they don't take plastic, so bring cash! You are in for a truly great dining experience.

We had dinner there last week and the food was very enjoyable. The listed menu has mostly 8-10£ items and the 'specials' which includes all the mains are more in the range of £18. The pastas are a good size and the ones we had were very good. The tiramisu dessert was very good as well. There are a lot... More

First time there with the family. Very warm welcome and attentive, friendly staff. Menu has a strong Sardinian influence and wine list is totally Sardinian. The tomato sauce on the garlic bread is to die for. We then chose a pizza (very tasty and well cooked), a menu pasta and a pasta special, both of which were wonderful. Two had... More

Visited here at the weekend with my husband, and we could not have asked for more from our visit. We hadn't booked and it was really busy but they found us a table to sit at whilst we waited for a proper table, which was right by the kitchen, ALL of the staff were very friendly and attentive - the... On the back of the reviews, we expected and got a tiny table in a tiny restaurant who somehow manage to cram 50 covers into the old two groundfloor rooms of an end-terrace house. Intimate it is not, fun it certainly is. We had rung in advance "Are you very busy this evening?" received a quick chuckle and "We are... More
