Great location and good food

Stopped by after a long walk for a quick lunch. The Yorkshire pudding with sausage and onion was very tasty. The food did take some time to come, although it was jam packed. On the whole a good experience.

Having taken the hill route, following the brown sign, we found this hidden treasure. Arrived lunchtime, just a coffee and confirmed dog friendly, being made very welcome by the young man behind the bar. We were invited to look at the menu should we wish to make a return visit.Returned the same evening met by Rachel the owner who not... More

Beautiful Yorkshire Inn in a stunning location. We stayed overnight yesterday and I would highly recommend it. The Inn itself is a cosy, warm Yorkshire Inn with a crackling real fireplace which was as warming as the welcome from both the owners and the locals. The food was delicious and was served up quickly. I had the slow cooked belly pork... More

Great food in a neat little garden after a nice walk! The place was packed out for lunch but the wait was worth it! The steak and ale pie was delicious! Good cheese baguette and the Yorkshire pudding with beef and gravy was no light bite!! We struggled on the walk home! If I had one whinge - I like... More

Stopped here after a long walk so we were very hungry. We soon lost our appetite. My Sunday Beef lunch was a throw back to the 70's. Over cooked tasteless veg, grey strange looking slabs of over fatty meat, luke warm, tasteless gravy. There was so much food on my plate it made me sick to look at it. My... More

Very quiet for a Saturday evening meal, but it is a bit out of the way. The landlady was very welcoming as was the dinner menu with a good choice on offer and a specials board. We ate in the bar area, as that was where the open fire was, the dining room looked to be large and characterless. The... More

We stayed for one night, the room was a double en suite, would have liked a few toiletries but that's nit picking, the food was excellent and the room was clean and pleasantly decorated . The landlord and landlady made us feel very welcome and we had a lovely nights stay.

We enjoyed a good average pub Sunday lunch here in September at a very reasonable price. The Feversham Arms is particularly well placed for walkers in Farndale and the area generally. The pub was pretty quiet and although lunch was competent, and we were made welcome, there did not seem much spark to things generally. Nevertheless, recommended as a very... More

A simple lunch after a stiff walk but most enjoyable. Nicely kept beer, food portion size good. All in all, value for money and a very pleasant landlady.

I had T-bone steak with chips and salad and there was a hair in the salad immediately put me off my meal they offered an alternative but i would not eat there after finding a hair in my food, there was no offer of a refund or a part refund which i think is disgusting what a waste of £21.95
