We visited around 1130 and had no issues getting a table waiting only around five minutes. Extensive menu we opted for a decaf cappuccino, a Betty's blend tea and a fat rascal. I'd have to agree it is pricey, but you get what you pay for. It is no more expensive than any other tea room of similar quality eg... More

Very nice 'Olde English' tea room but be aware that there is a climb up stairs, Rather pricey but you are paying for the ambiance, I had a rather nice Breakfast Tea. Excellent service with a smile.

Quite expensive for what you go and we've had better elsewhere in the area. Not much of an atmosphere in the tearoom. We were quite... More

I never got through the door, the queue was around the block. I did manage to go to the smaller cake shop and sample their macaroons instead, which were delicious.

I had lunch at Betty's in March 2014 on a recommendation by a person at the train station. The carrot cake was fabulous way to top of a delicious sandwich and my table provided an excellent 'people watching' venue.

I don't visit on a regular basis but do pop in now and again. Visited today and I was not disappointed. Had the kedgeree which was lovely although poached egg was hard (not the end of the world). My husband and I then had a treat from the cake trolley which was delicious. For me the service was friendly and... More
