Four of us had a variety of sandwiches and the savoury tea. Good food, good value and pleasant service. Will happily visit again.

Bothams is a traditional tearoom that doesn't seem to have changed much over time. It has excellent service and serves a good range of food. We had fish and chips, scampi and chips plus soup. The soup was a little thin for my liking but the bread was excellent. There is a great choice of teas and coffees, all prepared... More

Bothams is a great place to call for an excellent cup of tea and a delicious cake cannot be bettered in Whitby

Have had many afternoon teas here, scrumptious food, polite friendly staff and lovely fresh coffee, nice for a change to fish and chips, go see for yourselves, the shop also provides treats to bring home.

We had a lovely crab sandwich, served by friendly staff, in a pleasant atmosphere. The bakery is excellent, and at home I am just having some of their marmalade on toast.

a little disappointing after our last first visit in march, service a little slow they were rather busy asked for tea and toasted teacakes , tea was fine, but the teacake athough quite large had been stood and the butter had soaked in not very tasty

Fully expected to get ripped off for a traditional tearoom experience, but actually the prices were very reasonable and selection of hot and cold meals and snacks pretty varied. Family friendly, good quality food and lots of cakes :)
