Visited over Easter as we have previously loved Trenchers. Sad to say, a very poor service - kept waiting (ignored by passing staff) even though tables were clearly available. Food still nice but now overpriced. They need to up their game in this economic climate more

As regular visitors to Trenchers over many years ( before and after the fire) we find the food of consistently good quality, the service efficient even when very busy, the interior clean tidy and the toilets the best we have seen anywhere. more

this place has 16 floor staff on, on a tuesday at 3pm!! that must say something!! this place is brilliant! every dish is specially fried to order, it's won an award for the best toilet, its also part of the crab and lobster chain! i had the halibut fish and chips, and boy its the best i've ever had! more
