This is a lovely little coffee shop - atmospheric, good service, good coffee and cakes. Try and get the upstairs window seat for some excellent people watching.

An excellent selection of absolutely delicious cakes, lovely coffee and service too. We visit at least once every time we visit Whitby.
We always have afternoon tea on our numerous visits to Whitby and had not tried Marie Antoinette's before. We went for the scones with jam and clotted cream. I am really fussy about scones, can't stand it when cafe's microwave them. This doesn't happen here, they were excellent freshly baked scones, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Yummy..... We...

We go here every time we are in Whitby for a cheeky slice of cake. It is absolutely Devine. Decor and atmosphere is gorgeous and in keeping with the name of the shop, even down to the background music which is played. Service is fab. No criticisms at all. A must try for anyone visiting Whitby.
Typical of properties in the old town of Whitby this one is full of character, but for a restaurant it is a bit of a 'squash and a squeeze'. Given that they do excellent coffee and the portion of lemon meringue pie I had was huge. We always visit when in Whitby, it is one of the better places to...

What a fantastic place to eat cake!!! There is a huge range of fresh, homemade, delicious cakes on offer. The Patisserie is very quaint with piped music to add to the ambience. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. We always make sure we visit Antionette's whenever we are in Whitby and would thoroughly recommend it to...

Well worth the trip alone - coffee and cakes brilliant. Service was efficient and friendly, and it certainly felt that the staff were glad to see you !
We went here for coffee and cakes and couldn't go wrong both cakes were fantastic and huge! Really moist and fresh as well. We sat up stairs which does seem to quieter than the down stairs area. A very quaint little cake shop and a must go visit will be back.
Came here for coffee and cake. Atmosphere is lovely. Sat upstairs and wasn't overcrowded! We had carrot cake which was lovely and the chocolate cake which was very rich and could of done with some cream. A must if you are in the area.
Called in on a very cold day whilst on a 2 day break. Unfortunately the welcome from the staff wasn't very warm and we had to wait a while while to be served even though we were one of only 2 couples in the place. Both staff members were in the kitchen clearing up. However, the place itself was very...
