Delicious cakes and friendly service

There is a good selection of both cakes and puddings here. It is a small place but cosy with interesting decor. Would recommend.

We had sandwiches and cake . The sandwiches were chicken bacon and mayo with salad and were ok. We had cake and they were yummy. Nice cafe but not wow.

We stopped off for a coffee/tea; my husband had a piece of lemon meringue and I had a cream scone. Absolutely delicious. Can definitely recommend.

We visited the patisserie recently with our dog Alfie, dogs are allowed at the 3 or 4 tables downstairs. We had coffee and cake, I am gluten free so only had one choice but it was very nice.

The epitome of what a tea room should be. Pleasant staff, good selection of cakes and pastries, nice place to sit and watch the world walking past, on a warm day.

My daughter and i have always loved visiting this quirky, tiny little ye olde tea room! Our last visit was dissapointing though.....the staff appeared completely harrassed. They must be exhausted though climbing up and down that tiny stair case with heavy trays!! Nice coffee's and an amazing selection of cakes x

We were staying at the cottage next door to this place so felt it would be rude not to visit. What a charming little place it was. There are a couple of tables downstairs and two more rooms upstairs, one of which we took over with our party of 6. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. The coffees were... More

If you would like a cake between two fish & chips this is your place! The cakes and coffee was good. We had a nice brake from discovering the town! Well worth the visit! The setting is nice. We liked it!

Walked past this stunning little tea room on our way back from a day visit to Whitby. Looked beautiful from the outside, and the beautiful cakes displayed in the window were tempting me and my husband to go in there and then!! We decided to return the next day for cream teas, and my husband opted for an additional slice... More
