Visited this morning for a coffee and cake fix. As an enthusiastic home baker I was keen to see whether the cakes tasted as good as they looked ... we weren't disappointed. Scrumptious Victoria Sponge and decadent chocolate fudge were equally delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the decor is very shabby chic. Highly recommended for a treat!

We can even say it's better than some spots down in Cornwall having recently returned. The teapots were large in fact we had about 3 cups... More

We visited Whitby yesterday and were attracted to this restaurant as it looked as if it would be good. We were mistaken. We were told there was space upstairs and the three of us made our way upstairs. A waitress came a few moments later to clear a table next to us but when we asked for a menu she... More

My husband and I went to this cafe last week and had tea, coffee and home made scones. Very friendly staff and lovely food - will call in again the next time we are in the area. Fantastic cake selection. Reasonably priced too. Would recommend.

This is really an excellent little Patisserie with a lovely selection of cakes and scones. My daughter and i were only in Whitby for a couple of days but visited this establishment twice ! The staff are extremely welcoming and the decor is very quaint. The cakes are second to none, the only problem being which one to choose and... More

My family and I stopped here for a cappuccino and cake before the 199 step climb to the Abbey . I had a Cappuccino and lemon meringue cheesecake and we sat outside. We were a chair short for my party , so the lady kindly brought a chair out , some extra sugar and some napkins. A lovely friendly lady,... More

I absolutely love this little tea shop. A wide selection of fabulous cakes, coffee just as I like it and lovely staff. I'll make this a regular stop on my trips to Whitby from now on.
