My hubby and I had a wonderful welcome and some fantastic food at this lovely restaurant. We both had starters, insalate caprese for hubby and I had king prawns and avocado bruschetta. For mains I had a pizza and I asked for certain things to be removed and something else to be added which was not a problem. My hubby... More

Whitby is the last place on earth that you would expect to have a meal to remember. Whitby as a town is not for me.We were given a table at short notice. A lovely waitress served us and all the staff were very attentive. I read a previous report on trip adviser who recommended the seafood risotto and I totally... More

Absolutely First Class. The food was superb. Forget disappointing fish and chips and treat yourself. I can recommend the garlic bread, the garlic mushrooms and the 'Pollo in Gorgonzola and Brandy sauce'. I just wish i'd had room for pudding so that I could recommend that too. Will definitely be back.

After a few days away up and down the country and a fish and chip lunch in Whitby we were struggling to find somewhere to eat in the evening after a pre dinner drink. A quick browse through Trip Advisor came up with. Cosanostra. Can wholeheartedly recommend this place which was buzzing. The staff were attentive and we soon had... More

We've eaten here twice now; once just as a family (2 yr old son), and once with friends and their 4 month old daughter. I'd recommend booking if you want to eat around 7pm. We ate earlier because of the children and they were more than happy to accommodate us. If you haven't booked and you're they type that hates... More

Super little place this. The problem with whitby is there are too many greasy fish and chip shops and not enough places like this. Great for families and all the staff were super friendly and made you feel as if this was a little part of Italy. Food is excellent and you can expect to eat at a very fair... More

Staying in the area for a break we nipped to Whitby for a few hours today. The weather was lousy and pretty much all the usual suspects restaurant wise were packed to the rafters. We walked around a corner and discovered Cosa Nostra. It was empty, which for us was great. We experienced lovely service and really good food. I... More

Visited this Italian Restaurant last year and was so impressed with the service and food we went twice this year when on holiday. We were lucky on both nights to get a table, but this place is so busy, we will book in the future. The waiters/waitresses are attentive and very professional. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. Would... More

Another of our favourite restaurants in Whitby. Fantastic Italian food served by attentive staff, who are always keen to help. Very child friendly - my daughter loves this place. Everywhere immaculately clean & tidy and very good value for money. The pizzas are excellent.
