Italian food at its best

We visited here whilst on holiday, and was not disappointed, the venue is large and spacious and room to relax and talk without being knocked by passing waiters and overheard by other guests. The food was excellent, lots to choose from, well worth a visit

So good, I had to review it again. The service was even better than last time.Unobtrusive, attentive and warm. The food and the wine were sensational. Fabulous restaurant.

I have been a few times to Cosa Nostra, each time has been excellent. The food is much better than main competitor Moutrey's and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I visit Whitby often and used to go to Moutrey's for my Italian fix but ever since Cosa Nostra has arrived its been interesting to see how many people,... More

This was our third visit to Cosa Nostra and whilst as usual the service and atmosphere was good ,the food somehow fell a little short of our previous experiences and expectations. However it will probably not stop us returning when we next visit Whitby. StuartP Hinckley

We visited Cosanostra on the recommendation of a good friend - and we were absolutely NOT disappointed. From our first telephone contact- (we booked being as it was Easter Sunday and Whitby was the busiest I have ever seen it) .... booking made stating that we needed to accommodate a wheelchair. Nothing was too much trouble. We were given a... More

Me and my boyfriend went here last night for our last evening out of our short stay in Whitby and we were not disappointed. We ordered bruschetta to start which was delicious and I had pizza caprina and he had chicken Kiev pizza. We ate every last piece... The staff were friendly and the restaurant's decor was fresh and bright.... More

Pizza fantastic. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, not the one referred to in other reviews. Boxed up our left overs to enjoy later. Would recommend.

Some of the food was lovely and some seemed to be reheated from frozen or maybe shop bought, The wine and service was perfect but could have done with the food being a bit better, too generic.

Quite a large restaurant on two levels. We arrived at 1930 having booked a table. On arrival we were shown to our table by the head waiter/enforcer?.He is to customer relations,as is an iceberg to the Titanic, not good.(I have noticed recently that other reviewers have adverse comments on his customer services as well)The food here was excellent, well presented and well cooked,I especially...
