I enjoyed the food. My Penne funghi was good though I would rather have more crispy chicken in it since it was combined with creamy wine sauce. Bit chilly even though we were far away from the door, though. I would come back to try pizza as the couple next to us ordered some and it looked delicious. Great service... More

During a weekend vacation in Whitby we came across this restaurant. Fully booked on the Friday we made a point of booking a table for Saturday. We were not disappointed with our choice which was booked on the basis of the menu on the door. I had the duck dish and my hubbie had the seafood/fish "stew" sorry folks cant... More

It's very refreshing, in my opinion, to find a restaurant which you can be certain will always serve you an excellent meal every time you visit.Often we enjoy a meal, only to be dissapointed on our return visit. We have eaten here on many occasions now and have always throughly enjoyed it. Both my husband and I chose pasta dishes... More

We booked here for an evening meal, and felt let down on some basic items. Despite being far from the door our table was freezing, ....there are gaps in wall that the wind blows through! Our food came surprisingly quickly after it was ordered, my fish was ok, and the vegetables oily but tasty. Unfortunately my partners steak was terrible,... More

On a recent trip to Whitby we called in on the off chance there was a table free and we were lucky. The food was superb, the portions were more than adequate and the service efficient yet unobtrusive. Sicilian Flat Bread - very simple but very tasty and the Calzone Carnivore were gorgeous. Our early evening shot in the dark really paid... More

Wished we'd not been approached by the manager to be told the table was reserved for another party in 30 mins. There was 3 of us and we all had 3 courses. Spent a decent £80+! We'd have gone elsewhere if we'd known we were strapped for time. As it was the staff were so busy (it was packed) that... More

Went for my sons 16th with the family, the starters were good but the main meal was a let down and ruined the night. At first they brought us the wrong food after this the first 3 meals arrived and my sons fillet steak and mine we waited for, when it did arrive it was cooked wrong, medium well and... More
