Quiet often very busy so good idea to book. Not the cheapest place in the north east but must be one of the best .

The food was beautiful and the service was very good with a good selection of starters and classic Italian dishes. We will definately eat here when we return to Whitby.

Four of us ate in the evening and where seated upstairs on what you would call a theatre style balcony. The staff are very friendly and all our food was excellent. My only comment was to many staff served you which meant when you asked for something it quite often got forgotten. I don't blame the staff for this I... More

Really nice food, really nice staff, my daughter ordered a pear juice that she didn't like so the nice waiter knocked it off the bill, nice touch, great pizza and pasta too, and the key lime pie was fabulous too

We had a bruschetta with feta to start and it was delightful. However my main dish Penne Pollo Funghi was very bland and I had to smother it in salt to get a bit of flavour. My partner had a tomato based dish which was much nicer. Service good if a little direct.

Really good choice of food at reasonable prices. Friendly atmosphere with a great sense of humour. Would recommend booking in advance.

We always visit Cosa Nostra when in Whitby and the food is consistently good. Large pizzas, beautiful pasta and great starters and salads. We've always found the staff attentive without being overbearing, and this was certainly the case on our most recent visit, the Saturday of a very busy bank holiday weekend. We'll definitely be eating here again.

I have visited this restaurant twice recently, the 1st time was on a Sunday lunchtime and then the 2nd time on a very busy Saturday night. I wasn't disappointed on either occasions & I was impressed that as the Restaurant became busier on the lunchtime then additional staff were called in to help out the one, very pleasant Italian Gentleman... Had another excellent evening meal here during our recent visit to Whitby. We are vegetarian and there is enough choice for us on the menu - the quality of the food has always been top class, the atmosphere is friendly and the staff are efficient and very pleasant. In our opinion it's THE best place to eat in Whitby -... More

What a disappointment this restaurant was. When passing one night the restaurant was full to the brim and looked very appealing so we booked a table for the next night. What a disappointment. yes it was full, but there was no atmosphere whatsoever, it was loud and uncharismatic. service was fast, i got the feeling that it was a 'get... More
