We are a small unlicensed eatery, serving just pie mash peas and gravy. We welcome dogs and their owners but have a dog free area upstairs. We don't have any Alcohol, but you are more than welcome to bring your own or pop over the road to the Endeavour pub who will let you bring a nice cold pint back to your food.If we do something wrong or make a mistake, please let us know or contact me through the messaging service and i will put it right.I believe you should be able to have a filling quality meal for a decent price.

Love, Love, Love. I can not rate this place highly enough. The food was delicious and hot, the service was impeccable and the whole atmosphere was just perfect. Thought I'd give this place another try after a disappointing visit last year based on the colossal amount of over the top reviews (especially from newbies to TA) & it failed again to live up to the hype. IMO the pastry is very dry, hence, served with a gallon of bisto gravy & the filling also a little dry & uninspiring.... More

Another visit, another pie sampled. Decision every time I visit, shall I get what I like or try something new? This time I opted for the Haggis option, another good choice. Excellent value for money, tasty pie, proper mash, plenty of peas with loads of gravy. What more could anyone want? Will be back soon to continue my research in... More

Corned beef pie, proper mash and peas. Can't go wrong! Cute and quirky little place, easy to miss but I'm glad we didn't. Lovely.

Great value for a hearty pie, mash, pea and gravy dinner. Wonderful choice of pies. I had haggis and which was was really tasty, grandad had corned beef and hubby had sausage and black pudding washed down with camp coffee. The food is served on enamel plates in a pre war setting with music to match. A blast to the... More

We had seen this little eatery reviewed on tripadvisor, so called in on a wet and windy Friday night. We had braised steak and mince meat pies warm and hearty food, we did not try the camp coffee only because neither of us could remember the taste so settled for the normal coffee. Loved all the quirky things plenty to... More

A dreary, wet Saturday afternoon was rescued by pie, peas and mash. Perfect remedy after trudging around in rain. We tried corned beef and chicken pies. Both excellent and filling. Accompanying peas and mash proved great adjuncts but perfection (for me) was a hot, sweet cup of Camp coffee. Highly recommended.

The weather was wet and windy....we were hungry and wanted somewhere warm and cosy to eat. We found it! Not just warm and cosy but quirky and fun, serving fantastic pie and mash. The lamb, leek and rosemary is fab and filled to the brim with minced lamb. The chicken and cider pie was equally as good....there was lots of... More
