Over the years my wife and I have visited lots of fish & chip restaurants in Whitby including Hadley's, the thing is not one of them come up to the standard of Hadley's. We visited on 1st April 2014 (no not an April fool trick), we had the medium cod and chips, tea, bread and butter, the fish was extremely... More

Accessible restaurants are not easy to find in Whitby. But Hadleys goes the extra mile. The flat access door is locked and you have to bang on it like a loon to be let in. Then when you finally get inside they lock it again effectively locking you in. You feel humiliated. You point this out and are met with... More

BF and I visted whitby on sat 29 march. As he recalled Hadleys from a previous vist years before we decided to sample whitbys finest offering (its fish n chips) there. We were quickly seated and the staff were great and were well able to advise us as to the flavours and textures of the different fish on the menu.... More

Wandering around Whitby on a cold March Thursday afternoon we came across Hadleys Fish Restaurant. Having tried some of the others previously we thought we would give this one a go and we weren't disappointed. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. There is a good choice on the menu and a size guide to help you choose. One of... More
