The children's meals in this restuarant were overpriced, greasy with small portion sizes, although when we complained they did bring 2 more meals. Hadley's just need to give an appropriate portion size for the cost in the first instance. Meals looked as if they cost less than £1,so clearly plenty of profit here. Unfortunately we won't be returning, back to... More

This Restuarant has stood the test of time and we have been coming here for years and never been disappointed with the food or the service-it was the same again on Saturday. Never come to Whitby without trying this one out for lovely fish and chips !

I eat at Hadleys every time I come to Whitby (with a record of 3 times in 2 days.) I have never had a disappointing meal there and especially like their Yorkishire Tea special meal.

Enjoyed a good medium cod n chips, although you need to ask if you want extras like peas or Bread n Butter. Open slightly later than others in the area so it was nice for supper.

Dear Readers, I cannot find superlatives en masse that would give justice to the gastronomic jewel that is HADLEYS. Simply visit. End of narrative.

This is a well priced and well situated (old town) accommodation above a fish and chip restaurant.. Don`t let this put you off as the rooms are very nice and don`t smell of cooking. Also the main car park in Whitby is very close, they don`t do breakfast here but that`s not a problem in Whitby. Also the staff were... More
