We visited here on Thursday 11th September. It wasn't over busy as we ate early evening. Pleasant staff, very clean with a nice relaxing ambience. Food was above average portions to what we're normally used to and it had plenty of meat in it and not just loads of sauce. Tasted delicious too. A very pleasant eating experience. Top marks... More

Went here for a meal on a very busy Saturday night. Having been booked a table for 8 we got there and ordered a drink while the table was being made ready. Sat down by 8:15. 8:30 the drinks arrived. So not a great start. Having ordered popodoms we put a food order in. Once again, the service was disorganised... More

We popped in here for lunch one Saturday whilst visiting Whitby. We've had take aways from here before, but this was the first time we'd eaten in. My fiance ordered a king prawn curry and said that they were the nicest prawns he's ever had (and he has then anytime he sees them on a menu!). My lamb Rogan Josh... More

We had a little boy with us who wouldn't have been used to Indian cuisine. So they let us bring a pizza in from next door. That was a nice touch. So thanks lads. We were getting desperate!

After reading the reviews and not having eaten here for a few years, I was very dubious. The food however was very good and been from Bradford the curry capital we are quite critical. I would definitely recommend it.

Really authentic Indian food I've traveled around India over the years. This is the best Indian food I've had in uk. I can say that our meals were fresh and full of flavour and staff are great

Have been coming here for about 5 or 6 years. Have visited the restaurant and had a take away and both are very nice.

We had been on our monthly walk and hadn't decided beforehand where we were going to eat. This was unusual as its the most important part of the day for us, we all like our food and after walking 12 miles are usually more than ready for something. Anyway as the four of us have "Tastecard" my husband went on... More

We had a takeaway from here delivered to our caravan site and the food was lovely. Everything was hot and the ingredients tasted fresh.

I have used the Passage to India since the place was opened by the previous owners. The present restaurant is modern, clean and well presented .We have had good and mediocre meals there depending on the time of evening you go. Twice recently however, we have ordered drinks whilst waiting to be taken to our table and unusually for our... More
