Ok indian

visited while on a weekend away to whitby. The restaurant is located close to the train station. The menu is the standard one, with regular starters and mains. The staff were polite and service as ok. If you feel like indian in Whitby worth a try.

We were very pleased to find a curry house in Whitby, and it was so good! The inside was beautifully decorated, we were served efficiently, and the food was really delicious - the bet I've had in awhile with really good depth of flavour. The only downside was the price - £50 for two starters, mains, naans, beers and poppadoms... More

Decided to eat in rather then get a take away, had to wait 15mins for a table even tho there was empty tables available, at a busy time, but this is a minor quibble as the food more then made up for it, lovely tasty dishes and excellent fast service, will be back again and again :)

Ordered a takeaway, in lieu of sitting in with our incessantly whiney children! V polite staff, food was hot, and the chicken karahi and chicken kormas were wonderful! Regretted not ordering an extra portion of the former! Even the brats wolfed their korma down. Super-tasty naans and lucious relishs. Highly recommended!

The rice was burnt, both my Balti and my partners madras has no resemblance to these dishes in taste. The service was poor and we had to wait minutes despite being told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Please stay away

This was our first visit and won't be our last. We rarely eat Indian food and we asked the waiter about the dishes, he was extremely helpful and pointed us to the best food for our tatses. It was amazing, loved everything and looking forward to going back for more.

We visited for an evening meal as we fancied something different to fish and chips. We asked for a quiet corner as we had a sleeping toddler in a pram, they accommodated this request without any issues. The food was very tasty and full of flavour and the staff were very friendly. My only qualm was when our toddler woke... More

To say it was a busy Saturday night and every seat in the restaurant had a bum on it, the food was really quite tasty. After reading the reviews on here we decided to give it a go and have no regrets. Good service and great food!
