Well Worth It

The food and service were excellent, I would recommend here to anyone, my only gripe of the evening was a few feckless parents who let their children wander around.

The curry was very bland, you were given 4 small pieces of garlic bread. We waiting a long time between courses. Wouldn't go again.

Fantastic food & service. We only stayed in Whitby for 3 nights but we ate here the first & 3rd night! Service was quicker on the Fri night than the Sunday but this was a Bank Hol weekend and the place was jam packed so still satisfied with length of wait. There were a number of impatient customers who left... More

Busy restaurant worth booking but can always have a drink in near by pub while waiting on bust nights! Food good with good menu choices. Definitely one of the better indian restaurants we have been to.

Visited here on a Saturday evening, please book as turning people away, menu typical Indian with Chiefs speciality ,food lovely but not best I've had ,service nice not rushed in any way ,very reasonably priced prob would've been disappointed if prices would've been higher as felt just average curry ,but lots of pros too defiantly worth a try if in Whitby and... Came to Whitby for the bank holiday weekend. Reserved a table for the Sunday night - found that the staff were polite and helpful, however, food quality lets the side down. The tikka masala ordered was farely runny and tastless. Has to be the worst I've ever had. The rice and naan bread weren't anything spectacular either. Won't recommend or... More

We went here a few days ago whilst visiting Whitby. We were very shocked it was amazing we are fussy eaters when it comes to indian food and very few places pass our expectations but this one defo did. The food was one of the nicest curries we have ever had and what with excellent service and all at a... More

I was looking forward to my "Passage to India" after seeing the reviews, but was a little let down. The staff were very friendly and attentive, they would have got 4-5 stars, but the food let it down. It was certainly nice food, but it lacked any real kick to it, as the Makhani and Jalfrezi were just too bland.... More

This has to be the BEST Indian meal e have had! We had been out looking for somewhere to eat, it was quite late & places we tried we were too late. Well I am glad we were to late for them all as this meal was fantastic! We are a family with 2 kids & they said it was... More

Decided on a whim to eat here as we passed it. Good decision - staff were attentive and were quick and efficient. It was getting busy when we went in but this didn't affect the speed of service whatsoever. The meal itself was outstanding and looked as well as tasted excellent. Good selection of drinks and the bill was great... More
