Indian food is one of my favourites and I was not disappointed with this restaurant, the food was lovely and served nice and hot. The service was really good with very polite speedy staff. Loved the prawn purée starters and the lamb balti were great. It is not that cheap but I thought it was good value for your money.... More

good delivery service ordered on a Sunday evening and delivered quickly food hot and tasty no complaints on quality of either starters or main courses next time in Whitby would use again, even though slightly pricey compared with our own local takeaway

We have been to this restaurant quite a few times, always been really nice. The starters were really lovely, we were starving a really looking forward to the main meal. Oh it was horrible, tasted like processed chicken in curry flavoured tomato sauce. May be chef had a day off, but they both went in the bin

How this restaurant has gone from one of the best I've eaten at to a very mediocre one is amazing. Whitby had 4 Indian restaurants a few years ago, now they have the monopoly as they are the only one left. They are taking their customers for granted and have lost the kind of consistency they once had and have... More

Had takeaway from this dinghy, dark and dirty looking restaurant whilst on holiday. The poppadoms were soft and tasteless and all of the food was barely warm and extremely bland. Possibly the worst takeaway I have ever eaten!

As we were looking through the window choosing whether to in or not, a lady walked passed and mentioned the staff were really courteous and the food was nice. We thanked her and went in. Greeted by a guy that appeared to not know his job at all but we smiled and chuckled. He seated us at a table laid... More

We were recommended to the restaurant by our B&B's hostess, we went for a mid evening meal, it was fairly busy and had to wait 10 mins for a table and after ordering had a reasonable wait for our meal. This is where the restaurant let itself down, the service was terrible at one point when we received our tiny... More
