Those that visit a lot of curry restaurants for many years will know what I mean! There is even one wall with partial flock wallpaper although the restaurant is modern. Disappointing start when tea was not available as an alternative because they have no alcohol license. Mixed Tikka starter was very good on a sizzling plate and shami kebabs ok... More

This place will cook you anything to suit you, if its not on the menu a quick chat about what you like will see you eating an amazing dish, the staff are polite and the place clean and the food outstanding, no wonder famous faces eat there.

We liked the food, which was very tasty and the staff made us feel welcome. Definitely a good place to go to for a pre Theatre dinner.

I am a notoriously slow eater, so found the service initially a little over attentive, with a slight tendency to try and rush me through the meal. But the food was excellent and the setting comfortable. Would definitely go back for the food.

Ate here last week, struggling to be positive. The poppadoms were average, the mango chutney was very watery!! The meal didn't do anything for me. The waiters looked unhappy and there was little attention to detail.

Good food, no jippy tummy next day which can happen with other places I have been. Good value. Staff quite pleasant but could be a little friendlier. Will be back..

Good food, friendly and helpful staff -what more needs to be said. Take your own alcohol (or buy it at the shop across the road). Our favourites:- the fish curry and lamb tikka balti masala, all nicely spiced.

My local Asian restaurant, an uncluttered menu, really friendly staff and freshly cooked non nonsense Asian food. I go with a group of friends once a week as a "curry club" and have been doing for years. Outside of Bradford or Manchester's Curry Mile you won't find a better meal at a very decent price. No licence so bring your... More

I hadn't booked a table but went for a meal with a friend. Staff were polite and helpful. My friend had brought her own alcohol as they were not licensed to sell it. We decided to have main meals which were brought to the table quickly. I had the fish handi which was lovely and my friend had a vegetarian... More

we were welcomed in the restaurant which we had not booked. We only wanted one course and this was no problem. The food was delicious and piping hot. The waiter suggested we popped over to the local shop if we wanted to enjoy a drink with our meal as they were not licensed.
