We should have known what to expect when the cutlery was almost chucked onto the table as we sat down! A starter of papadam's arrived stale and the chutney tray looked like it was some else's left over tray. Main course was just ok. Nothing outstanding here, maybe it's because settle is a small town and so not a lot... More

9 of us dined here on Saturday night, our annual pilgimage to this Indian Resturant. Food as outstanding as ever, service as good as ever. Just a little hot int he resturant. Will return again in 2015.

Arrived to eat here on a very busy Saturday night after the Tour de France. Staff managed to find us a table, and the service was quick and efficient. Tasty food, and would recommend to others.

Very good Indian restaurant. Staff were very friendly and advised which dishes were gluten free for my wife. Service was quick and the food top notch. We will definitely eat here the next time we're in Settle. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

For the past six or so years I have eaten here after completing the Three Peaks of Yorkshire with a group of Explorer Scouts. Contrary to what some people have said we have always found the staff really friendly and helpful. The owner remembers us from one year to the next to the point where we would expect a phone... More

This an excellent restaurant. Varied and extensive menu selection and excellent and friendly service. No alcohol license but there is a handy co-op directly across the road, which is open 'til late. This is a regular venue for us and we can recommend it highly

I note from some of the other reviews that the experience can be patchy here and that is something they'll cleraly need to think about. That said we've now been twice, once last May and most recently this weekend (a year later). Again our meal was really excellent. We love curry and as we have in-laws in Bradford we've eaten... More

Hadn't booked and managed a table last minute, it isn't licensed so a quick nip to Co-op across the road wasn't a problem and no corkage charge. We found the food to be very tasty especially the Lamb Handi.....Lamb Shali was very good to. Starters, Poppadoms, mains, rice, naan and large mineral water 37.00 which we think is very reasonable... Avoid this resturant service and attitude of staff is dreadfull the food on the whole is inedible my chicken Tikka was the worst I have ever experienced. When I complained all I got was a grunt and it was whisked away, only when I got up to leave was I given an apology and explanation and told it was been... More

We had booked well in advance as it was over the Easter period, its a good job we did as the place is not overly big. I had read some of the reviews and it almost put me off, I am however so glad I chanced it. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The meal was absolutely first class,... More
