Superb food matched by excellent service

Probably one of the best meals we have had in a longtime. Staff were friendly without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. Good choice on the menu; the scallop starters were superb and the main courses equally impressive. Have bod to come again!

Crispy Belly Pork Starter : Not crispy crackling at all so was in fact Chewy belly pork.... Tender Sirloin Steak : not tender and tasted old and 'fridgey' had to spit out gristle. So was in fact Chewy Sirloin Steak.... Rosti Potato bore no resemblance to the delicious Swiss rosti ! Was a stodgy nasty rectangle of some baked and... More

We were 14 and none of us had eaten here before. If you have eaten in restaurants when there are lots of you to be served at the same time you know, on the whole, to lower your expectations. Wrong! We were one of two large groups plus other diners and all the food appeared on time and at the... More

Had a very enjoyable evening. From our arrival and throughout the staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was well presented and delicious. The selection and quality of wines is excellent. Overall a most enjoyable evening out and would definitely return.

My boyfriend and I popped in after seeing a show at the Norwich Playhouse, initially for drinks as we thought we would be too late for dinner. We were greeted at the bar by a warm and friendly staff member, who recommended the most delicious glass of white wine for myself, and whisky for my partner. We asked about bar... More

Can't fault this place in any way. The food was beautifully prepared and the service (from Beatrice) was lovely. Great wine recommendation which all helped to give us another great experience. Thanks to all. X

Just back from a super weekend in Norwich to celebrate St Valentines Day. The highlight bring a meal at our favourite wine bar The Last. In spite of an incredibly busy evening the staff at The Last as always excelled. Their teamwork and attention to detail together with superb food and wine, made this a very special occasion. We met here for a family lunch to celebrate 3 birthdays,Great atmosphere- nice welcome and fabulous couple of glasses of Italian red. Brillliant choice of food for meat eaters, pescetarians and veggies so we were all happy. Hard to choose though as so many great sounding dishes..we all really enjoyed everything from starters to the delicious puddings. We were massively... More

Its brilliant to take clients or referrers of work here because its busy at lunch and has a lovely atmosphere and the food is really excellent too! They also keep it fresh by regularily changing the menu but keeping the favourites on.
