Always brilliant

Visited The last wine bar yet again on Saturday for yet another great meal. As usual the service was great and very attentive. Had the catch of the day which was smoked haddock and boy was it good, the smoked Norfolk dapple croquettes were amazing and the whole dish was fresh. A brilliant place... read more

We use this restaurant as a regular favourite in our home town . The food , atmosphere and service are all consistently good and probably amongst the best in Norfolk. We have been visiting here for numerous years and always have an enjoyable dining experience whether as a romantic meal for two or with friends. The menu offers a good... More

We went for dinner on Monday evening, it was busy! Food was excellent (as always) and our waitress was great - I definitely recommend this place

I often visit this restaurant when I'm in Norwich as it is consistently good. The menu is varied and the quality of the food is great. The prices are reasonable and the staff are just the right amount of friendly. Last weekend, my friend and I visited and we were given the table in the bar area. I can imagine... More

We had a table in the main bar, it was very busy and had a great atmosphere. We were a party of 4. Me and my partner had a starter between us - spicy lamb, it was lovely. I had partridge for main which was good but slightly dry and my partner had ox cheeks which was also good. Our... More

Back today for a lunch with 'old' colleagues and ate from the new menu. Ox cheek (braised, tasty, succulent) with dauphinoise and greens with horseradish and beetroot filled me a treat. Other diners' steak frites was (I thought) a couple of quid too pricey - but it's a big bistro dish and an excellent piece of ribeye. Salmon with buttered... More

We spent 2 days in Norwich & the whole city exceeded our expectations. This restaurant provided us the 2nd excellent meal during our stay. The wine bar has a great feel & a superb selection of wines to chose from (also knowledgeable staff to help you). The restaurant is nice too but it does feel a bit different from the... More

Popped in early December for a drink and end up having lunch. Lovely place and very friendly staff who made us feel welcome.

As always, the food was delicious, the ambience was great and the staff were perfect. Well worth paying a little bit extra for such a good experience. Timings for 30 people were spot on. What's not to love. Will likely come back here for works Christmas lunch again and will always frequently visit through out the year!
