We visited here to mark a special occasion. I booked the downstairs which is mainly setup for couples and has a really nice atmosphere. The menu was excellent and there were also a good selection of specials. All three courses were amazing and I couldn't fault anything. The staff were very nice and helpful. Will definitely be returning in the... More

Not been to the Last for a while, but friends visiting gave us a good excuse for dinner out. Great to see that the food, wine and atmosphere are as good as ever.

We dined (if you could call it that) at the last wine bar , very underwhelming food wise. The waitress was great but the praise stops there. The food was at best poor, I had the scallop starter which had the smallest scallops I have ever seen and overcooked, the summer salad consisted of frozen peas and beans and the... More

I haven't eaten here for ages, not quite sure as to why as it's always been good previously. Anyway, a business acquaintance booked four of us in for lunch last week and it was excellent. Menu was particularly good because I fancied pretty much everything and found it hard to make my mind up. Ended up with a home made... More

We ate here twice while visiting family. Good ambience, attentive and friendly staff. Vegetarian food excellent, tasty, beautifully presented and thought has clearly gone into creating something different, appealing and just as gourmet as the fish and meat dishes. That's very rare in a restaurant! My partner enjoyed sea bass on the first visit but was less enchanted with the... More

I went here for my birthday meal with family, all very much looking forward to it. The bar area is great, lively and atmospheric. The food however, was overpriced and average. Three of us in the group went for the steak - all to be cooked the same way - mine came out over cooked, noticeably different to the others.... More

This is a fun place - a buzzy wine bar (eat here rather than at the more serious adjoining restaurant) with attractive features and busy but attentive and friendly staff. There is an extensive choice of wines, many available in 125, 250 and 500ml options, as well as bottles. We enjoyed our food, although my liver was rather more chewy... More

Really enjoyed meal at this lovely bar & restaurant. Excellent selection of wine by the glass - and bottle! Food and drink seemed good value. Interesting menu; no regrets about choices. Friendly service at bar & restaurant area. Look forward to a return visit!

I've been here a few times, also fantastic service and amazing food. They also have a great wine list and when I asked recommended wine to would go well with our meal. Staff are very polite and friendly, one of the best food places in Norwich

I love this place, particularly for a date night on a Friday evening - you get the best of both worlds as you can pick between the bar menu and the restaurant menu. I think it's really good value for money too
