Food terrific, staff great and atmosphere lovely. Bit expensive for near cinema as would be used more after films.
It's as it should be means that for the price, it was very good. people state that there is better in Norwich and they're right, but at a price. This place has the right atmosphere, music, food, lighting, service and price. It's a good package. Yeh, 500 yards away is a Wetherspoons, much cheaper, crap food and no service (order... More
First time we had been here, the layout of the place was good, the young lady who served our table was very polite and helpful. We had to wait a long time for the drinks we orded and also for our Main meals, Not sure why as the place was far from full. The food was not that great as... More
Unless there are lots of you and you want to sit together like we did you would be better of going up the road to the Queen of the Icini. The food is about the same quality but is two or three times more expensive here. You also get better beer at a fraction of the price at QoI. this... More
Two courses 11.95 and then you got 25% off for mad Monday great food! friendly staff definitely go back
Returned to frankie & Bennys, as always lovely service, fast and delicious, we went in around 3, and were the only people in there, but it was very nice! will be going back! always too full for desert may have to go in there purely for desert aha!
I would advice booking on weekends and busy nights, one time we were waiting for around 20 minutes at the bar before being seated. Our waitress was very professional when my vegetarian friend found mince in her meal; she took the meal to the chef and... More
Main courses arrived before we'd finished our starters, (only for one having to be returned as it was cold!). Felt rushed, (probably as it was a Saturday evening, very busy - so they probably wanted us out for the next group to be seated). Poor
Very average. What you would expect of a chain restaurant and nothing more. The food was not better than I microwave meal (which I think it was), service was speedy enough and the place does look good. Middle of the road for sure and very forgettable.
Myself and my husband decided to visit Frankie and Benny's one afternoon, as they accept military discount (20%) so made it good value compared to similar places to eat on riverside. The food was nice, I had garlic mushrooms on ciabatta to start and my husband had the soup, tomato and basil. For our mains we had ribs, and steak... More
