This is the best pub for real ale. So, so many choices and great atmosphere. Always busy and buzzing and you can try before you buy. At night out is not complete without a visit here!

This pub/brewery is well worth a visit whilst in Norwich. It is about a 20 minute walk from the city centre and just on the outskirts of the Golden Triangle. It has a huge selection of real ales and quality ciders, a great atmosphere and an eclectic clientele. We visited twice during a weekend break and on both occasions it... More

Great beer, lots of selection and good prices. Nice selection of home made pies and that. Lovely atmosphere and overall a great norfolk pub!

Absolutely loved it, we came in after our wedding with the whole family, and we were treated like royalty by the lovely lady behind the bar, everyone involved made it a fantastic experience, and we even got some wedding gifts from them - some beautiful wine glasses and pint glasses, this was very special to me considering this was my... Went here with my partner for a few drinks. It's just a really nice vibe and a great selection of ales.

This amazing backstreet pub features a wide range of ales, on hand pull and gravity pour, in a traditional atmosphere. It's a drinkers' pub, for connoisseurs really, of no great interest to those without a desire to try a new brew. However, it does serve as a reminder of what drinking pubs used to be like, predominantly male, and serious... More

This pub is a must for ale fans, with a huge selection of beers including a couple of their own. It's fairly small so can get very busy, but well worth a visit if you want to try some unusual ales.

No visit to Norwich is complete without calling in at the Fat Cat. It's like a full on beer festival every day of the week. Superb selection of beer and some interesting ciders all well kept in a good old english pub.
