We went to this restaurant because of the local home cooked produce, very dissapointed, overpriced for the quality of the dishes nad one part of the restaurant is like being in their kitchen.

Whilst visiting Norwich this summer a group of friends and I went to this restaurant. I looked on the internet and really liked the look of the menu. So, booked a table for a nice evening of good food and wine. However, our experience and evening was OK but not to the standards I was expecting. My friends ordered an... More

Visited for evening meal whilst alone on business in Norwich & staying nearby. It was a tapas evening (all you could eat for £12.95). Whitebait, chowder, meatballs, focaccia, sausage cassoulet to name a few. Reasonably sized portions, attentive and efficient service. Nice atmosphere. Had a decent Chenin blanc for £5.90, large glass. Would have been a lovely option for a... More

Came here for Norfolk Tapas on Monday with my family. We didn't know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised by the menu, which includes many meat, fish and vegetarian options, as well as a 'luxury' tapas section. The price was extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get - £12.95pp. The tapas itself was simple but lovely, and... More

Tripadvisor Recently came here for lunch and couldn't fault it. The waitress who showed us to our table was friendly, and the waiter who took our order was keen to talk about the food on offer. Had 2 courses for £15 (bargain), Chicken with tarragon sauce and eton mess. Food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be coming back, perhaps for... More

Cold overcooked food, overpriced, scruffy un knowledgable waiter, and a cold and dead atmosphere at 7:30 on Thursday evening says it all really! Oh and don't get me started on the state of the ladies loo (both of them) not necessarily unclean but grotty and unsightly! Oh and people arriving for speed dating pretty much killed off any last hope... More

If I had read Paul L's review before our visit I don't think I would have booked this restaurant for my daughter's birthday meal last Thursday. We arrived and shown to a nice table in the window. I asked where the Ladies were located and was directed, unfortunately the light bulb in the ladies (only one cubicle) was strobing and... More

Checked online to see if Farmer Browns was open and there was no mention of a closure so decided to meet friends there for a birthday lunch. Arrived to be told the restaurant was closed for a private function. Deeply irritating as it doesn't take any time to post it on their website. Won't return even though we have never... More

My partner and I dined on a Friday evening mid-July. Lovely table, welcome and what looked like a lovely menu. Our first bottle of wine was swapped for another as it tasted more like sherry. Starters were average to good - we had chicken liver parfait and belly of pork. For mains we ordered duck with dauphinoise and lamb with... More
