Very nice food

There were four of us who ate at the restaurant. I really enjoyed my main course the michael special (a chicken, potato, sauce and mozarrela bake) and the Profiteroles were also very nice. I didn't rate it a 5 as the service was a little slow and the pint of real ale I had was nearly £5.00

Based on Trip Advisor reviews, we booked a table for Friday evening & expected it to be fairly full, but it wasn't ... Food was nothing special, service was overly quick - we were in & out in under an hour. So much for an enjoyable evening out. We will not bother to visit again

Seven of us went here for my daughters birthday. I called up a few days before and asked if we could be seated in an area for ourselves, which they did and asked me, on arrival, if the table was ok, so amazing attention for us. The service was friendly, not fussy (we took ages to choose!), and made us... More

Eat here whenever in Norwich, food is delicious and a great selection of foods and drinks. Staff are friendly helpful and we,coming and you can see your food being cooked. Food is very good and priced very reasonably, always fairly quiet when I have been but this tends to be around five pm.

I visited with my husband and Mum in February as we live Italian food, but I was disappointed. I had a seafood pasta and it was bland and tasteless and the sauce was really watery. The service was fine, but overall a disappointment and won't be back.

I am terribly sorry you feel you had a sub standard meal with us. It is now several months after you came to see us which makes it very difficult to address your issue. As you said our service was good all i can say is it is a shame you didn't mention to one of our waiting staff that... More

We rang, explaining that we were in a rush, ordered over the phone, walked in, sat down and two perfectly prepared pizzas came to our table, with drinks and the bill. Thanks to this swift service, the train was caught, as well as a lovely lunch enjoyed. We will return for a relaxed evening soon

You must try the Antipasti, I had a Calzone Pizza which was the biggest and tastiest ever! My wife had the oven baked plaice and loved that too. Will definitely go back again. Half the price of Jamie Oliver's Italian Restaurant yet much better in our humble opinion.

Nice roomy restaurant. Attentive, friendly staff. Our waiter recommended the skate special. Glad we went for it as was delicious! Too full for a pudding but the choice was good.

Have visited Paolo's several times now for lunchtime and evening meals. Never disappointed. Had wonderful meal two evenings ago. Staff were attentive and checked all was ok during the meal. For starter we shared a bruschetta- generous portion for two people. Loved the olive oil used which really brought out the flavours in a simple dish. For main my husband... More
