A great little place to stop off for a good coffee in Norwich. Reasonably priced, friendly service and a tasty selection of home made cakes.

Been visiting here regularly for years and always excellent. Great menu choice, generous portions and always happy to "tweak" the options to suit your taste. My husband swears its the best welsh rarebit anywhere and doesn't bother looking at the menu for anything else. Friendly staff, always bustling and worth the wait if there's a queue, but shouldn't say that... More

We found No.33 through Trip Advisor and wow what a find! Stopped here for afternoon coffee and cake on day 1 of our break in Norwich. We were spoilt for choice with cakes but chose the bakewell cake which was large, tasty, and moist. All the cakes looked lovely. We then visited No.33 on a busy Saturday lunchtime. Despite arriving... More

We found this lovely café while I was waiting for my son at his University interview. Just visiting Norwich for the day! Delicious coffee and delicious moist coffee and walnut cake. My boyfriend and I shared this big slice of cake :-) the food other people were eating looked good too. Nice ambience and nice staff and reasonable compared to... More

There's a standing joke amongst our/my friends about how many times we/I check in here on Facebook. We adore the menu, love the setting, staff are great, we are always happy to queue (sign of a good place), don't mind if we are upstairs or down, once loved the big tea pots they dished out…. and now hate the small... We had breakfast here last Saturday when visiting Norwich. We'd found the place via the internet. Staff were lovely; friendly and personable. The breakfasts (1 veggie and 1 full english) were very good. The only minor complaint was the overcooked poached eggs, but then again we could have sent them back but didn't The breakfast tea was the best cup... More

Not the biggest menu in town but what they do, they do very well. Egg benedict or cake its going to be yummy! Don't tell anyone about it or there won't be any room for us.

I've lived in Norwich for most of my life and it's been great to see an abundance of cafes crop up in the past 10 or so years. We now have a great selection however, I have to say, No. 33 Cafe Bar is my absolute favourite. I always choose here for a birthday breakfast and haven't often strayed away... More
