I used to live in the area and regularly dined here. Although I might only return to London several times a year, no visit is complete with a visit to my favourite 'local' restaurant. This most recent trip, I went on 3 separate occasions with different friends - affordable, tasty and plentiful - the set menu is a steal !... More

I came here with a friend to celebrate his birthday, mainly because he lives nearby and isn't very mobile at the moment. Having read the excellent reviews on here, we were expecting to find a little gem of a place. We ordered bruschetta to share as a starter, followed by pizzas, washed down with a bottle of house red. I... More

When you pass this restaurant on the street it doesn't look like much, in fact it looks like a greasy spoon esque cafe, but it is an authentic Italian restaurant - the food is superb, incredibly good value and the service ain't so bad either! I would definitely visit this place again, one of Elephant and Castles hidden gems.

When you go out to eat as a woman solo, it is not always a welcoming atmosphere. The local Italian spot around the corner from my digs the last month has been tremendous. Good food, great service, and overall great, downtoearth place. I will miss it and Rachel, especially.

Since moving to Camberwell a couple of years ago I have had the pleasure of being a local of this little gem. From the friendly welcome to the authentic delicious food, it feels like a home away from home. All the staff are professional, efficient and friendly which really adds value to the whole experience. My personal favourites are the... More

Walworth is not renowned for its culinary treats, so it was a happy night when I stumbled upon this place. Great Pizza, but I can't vouch for the rest although I will go back to find out. Incredibly friendly staff too; it makes all the difference. Good luck to them. All in all, great atmosphere, lovely people, good food, and... More

Very friendly welcome on arrival from attentive staff. Restaurant seems like a corner of Italy. Lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed watching the Pizzas being prepared in fround of you. Nothing to hide, just tasty rustic cooking. I had the octopus in a tomato sauce from the specials board and my partner had King Prawns. The King Prawns must have been good... More

We had a warm welcome and attentive staff. It was good to see the pizzas being made. We had the specials which were excellent. A real Italian experience worth coming from Cornwall for!
