The food is great, a bit different from the run of the mill; and the décor is quirky, with a safari influence. But, an enjoyable evening, worth a second visit.

Good food, friendly service, reasonable prices. Very convenient if you're staying at Ruebens or Hotel 41.

Food was amazing! My family was in town and we decided to stop and get a more upscale fish and chips dish for them. This place did not disappoint in any capacity from the appetizer to the drinks to the main dish. Great atmosphere as well!

We had lunch here while we stayed at neighbouring Hotel 41. We both had the signature Salt Beef Sandwich which was lovely. Its also nice in the evenings when you fancy a bit of music and atmosphere. Do be careful though as they serve doubles without telling you, so the bill can be a bit of a surprise you aren't... More

While looking for a pre-theatre place to eat we stumbled across bbar. How lucky we were ! The restaurant was very busy, but the staff managed to get us a table for two within a few minutes. The manager and staff were very friendly and the service was great. Not pushy, but attentive. The angus burger was very good. The... More

We ate at the Bbar on the Saturday evening of our stay. We'd eaten at this restaurant in February 2012 as part of a theatre deal. The food then was very good, hence the reason why we wanted to dine their again. Although the waiter service was satisfactory, we found the food to be of average quality and over-priced on... More

Next door to the Rubens at the Palace hotel. Smallish place with nice atmosphere, eclectic menu and good service. I didn't eat here - stopped by for tea - but spoke to those who were dining and they had good things to say about the food/menu choices. Next time, I'll give it a try.

As with many reviewers, we went as part of a theatre package. From the time we arrived to the time we left, it couldn't have been a better experience. The staff were wonderful, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious! I look forward to visiting again.

The staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful even giving us an excellent steer on the wine choice for our lunch. I had to wait for my friend to arrive and I could not have ben made to feel more welcome whilst I waited. Lunch was excellent as was the service.

My wife and I ate at Bbar in London and were very pleased at both the service and the food. It was right near our hotel (the Reuben near Buckingham Palace). The staff were very courteous and talked to us about sights to see. The food was excellent.
