haven't been out in Victoria to eat for years. Lots of the old haunts have gone so this was a chance. Turns out a good one. Lovely venue, very convenient for Victoria Train Station. This is a Southern African Bar and restaurant with an Interesting menu. Springbok anyone? Couple of items on the menu give a donation to Prince Harry's... More

We were exhausted from walking around this beautiful city and on the way to Victoria Station headed back to San Francisco when we noticed “BBar.” I am so glad we walked in. First, it is located on a great corner location where you can people watch and there appeared to be a lot of locals coming in for dinner as... More

Used trip advisor to find a well rated restaurant near to Vic stn. Bbar was my choice and was pleasantly surprised. All was excellent. Only downside was the £2 charged for a bit of extra peri peri sauce. Otherwise 5 out of 5. Will go there again for sure.

We visited while staying at the amazing Hotel41. The service - 100/100. The food - 100/100. Totally stunning. And a very very kind desert on the house for our 10 year anniversary. We will definitely be returning.

The food is great, a bit different from the run of the mill; and the décor is quirky, with a safari influence. But, an enjoyable evening, worth a second visit.

Good food, friendly service, reasonable prices. Very convenient if you're staying at Ruebens or Hotel 41.

Food was amazing! My family was in town and we decided to stop and get a more upscale fish and chips dish for them. This place did not disappoint in any capacity from the appetizer to the drinks to the main dish. Great atmosphere as well!

We had lunch here while we stayed at neighbouring Hotel 41. We both had the signature Salt Beef Sandwich which was lovely. Its also nice in the evenings when you fancy a bit of music and atmosphere. Do be careful though as they serve doubles without telling you, so the bill can be a bit of a surprise you aren't... More

While looking for a pre-theatre place to eat we stumbled across bbar. How lucky we were ! The restaurant was very busy, but the staff managed to get us a table for two within a few minutes. The manager and staff were very friendly and the service was great. Not pushy, but attentive. The angus burger was very good. The... More

We ate at the Bbar on the Saturday evening of our stay. We'd eaten at this restaurant in February 2012 as part of a theatre deal. The food then was very good, hence the reason why we wanted to dine their again. Although the waiter service was satisfactory, we found the food to be of average quality and over-priced on... More
