Family run restaurant, people line up on the door at peak-time but they will always find you a table. The service is rustic Italian (they may should across the room) but this always adds to the experience. The food is simple but very tasty as Italian food should be. What really makes this restaurant is the buzzing atmosphere. On top... More

Food was ok and we did not try their pizzas which looked good. Bread basket of homemade (?) bread a shame. Tiramisu excellent. So order carefully.

Second visit to this restaurant first with group of friends second with my two young sons and they always seem busy. Excellent quality pizza sons loved it but had to get them to share a small as a small size was sufficient for me on my own. Traditional stone baked pizza.

Al Forno is situated in the road opposite Wimbledon Theatre and is possibly one of the best Italian restaurants in London. The food is always fresh and the service is exceptional. The owners, managers and chefs are Italian and can be described as stereo typically happy go lucky Italians. There is always a broad smile and genuine like from these... More

My husband and I ate here on Saturday evening after reading the reviews on trip advisor. Venue: A take on Italy, very rustic and charming ideal for couples on a date night or for a group of friends/family. It has quite a 'busy' atmosphere which adds to its character. Service: We arrived earlier than our booked table time of 7.15pm... More

After seeing a movie, we found this inviting place off the main high street and with no real dinner reservations for my birthday, I was so relieved to find what appeared to be a popular restaurant that could seat 4 on a bank holiday Monday! As you walk in, you are immediately comforted with authentic Italian decor, homely smells, buzzing... More

Awesome. Honestly best pizzas in london. Yes I dare say it. I normally eat big portions but cannot finish this large pizza. Beware! Order a small if you are doubting how hungry you are. Italian waiters so dont expect quick service...friendly yes, but not quick. It is loud and italian people shouting so be prepared. Prices are very decent. Have... More

Food was good. Service friendly. Had to ask for bill twice and waited 20 mins for it to come. Calamari was pretty good. Nice atmosphere. Better on a Saturday night than Sunday. Will return although last time was better than tonight. Still worth going.

Brilliant choice coming to Al Forno. Excellent atmosphere and ambiance. I like a restaurant that gets busy and by the time we left there was a queue of hungry people outside trying to get in. Staff were all so lovely and it was such good value for money. I had a delicious Fiorentina pizza. Baked to Italian perfection. Ordered a... More

Although it was a very busy saturday night we managed to get a table of four where we had our starters and mains with a very reasonable price. The steaks(dianna) were delicious with the creamy sauce but the large pizza was our favourite that night, and when I say its large I really mean it! The only think I suggest... More
