Awesome. Honestly best pizzas in london. Yes I dare say it. I normally eat big portions but cannot finish this large pizza. Beware! Order a small if you are doubting how hungry you are. Italian waiters so dont expect quick service...friendly yes, but not quick. It is loud and italian people shouting so be prepared. Prices are very decent. Have... More

Food was good. Service friendly. Had to ask for bill twice and waited 20 mins for it to come. Calamari was pretty good. Nice atmosphere. Better on a Saturday night than Sunday. Will return although last time was better than tonight. Still worth going.

Brilliant choice coming to Al Forno. Excellent atmosphere and ambiance. I like a restaurant that gets busy and by the time we left there was a queue of hungry people outside trying to get in. Staff were all so lovely and it was such good value for money. I had a delicious Fiorentina pizza. Baked to Italian perfection. Ordered a... More

Although it was a very busy saturday night we managed to get a table of four where we had our starters and mains with a very reasonable price. The steaks(dianna) were delicious with the creamy sauce but the large pizza was our favourite that night, and when I say its large I really mean it! The only think I suggest... More

During my 10 week stay here in London, I have been to many restaurants. Al Forno was my number 1 restaurant in Italian food. First of all, their pizzas are amazing, I definitively cannot complain about the size. I like my pizza a little crunchy and that is how they make it. Secondly, I tried many times their pasta dishes.... More

I went there with a group of friends for a special occasion. This was really loud so not so great to have conversations...! The A la Carte menu is pretty impressive. Go for Pizza, they are nice and of decent sizes ! Garlic bread also really nice ! DON'T go for pasta !! They are not tasty ! Staff were... More

Had been coming here for some time and stopped after reading about manager not offering help to passer by. Have now been back twice over the past few weekends and not much has changed. Yes the staff don't seem to be organised, yes there is some rudness and ineffectiveness, but the pizzas are fresh, large and generally very tasty (although... More

On first glance al forno looks like a brilliant place to go and have lunch or dinner. It's got a great open wall with seating so if it's a borderline sunny/rainy day it's ideal. The design I the place is great.... Unfortunately that's as far as it goes. The food is really hit and miss. I had an amazing steak,... More

Food was good but service was appalling. Staff standing around talking and not taking orders (we had to get their attention several times, they were then inattentive and didn't explain the menu properly). After the main course we were then all but kicked out at the end in order to make way for a big group - our desserts were... More

Bog standard Italian. The staff try to make it exciting. But perhaps try slightly too hard. Buzzy. Great atmosphere. And interesting people watching to be done particularly at the weekend. But the food isn't as good as the ambience. If you want entertainment go here. If you want great food go somewhere else.
