Nice clean authentic and well prepared. The mango lassi I had with my dinner was the best! Friendly staff who cared about the quality of the food and the wellbeing of their guests.

My beautiful partner, Karen and I were visiting London for the weekend for a show and happened upon 'Simply Indian' using my 'About Me' app... Very petite and bijou place, which was clearly popular. No wonder, the service was very attentive, the food was excellent, and there was plenty of positive atmosphere. Will certainly visit again.

A little surprised when we first walked in the door as it is quite small. It is not licensed but alcohol can be bought round the corner. The quality of the food was superb, the service spot on and all this at a very reasonable price. Well worth a visit especially if you are looking for somewhere a little quirky... More

We have visited this restaurant several times over a number of years as they offer a BYO arrangement and also accept a jug of beer from the nearby excellent Pub we also visit. The food and service for our party of 8 this visit was excellent. They offer some uncommon choices which is great; not the bog standard Indian restauarant... More

Really good food and bring your own beer. Good value too and not the standard curries restaurants often serve. (South Indian cuisine). Chapattis a bit thin and dull but apart from that can't really fault it. I had a chicken main the waiter recommended and dhal and spinach/paneer side dishes. All were good.

We were walked in this restaurant very randomly just for a meal. We found a lovely reinvention of some indian bestsellers, together with very nice traditional dishes. Awesome food, cosy environment, nice atmosphere. I`m not giving 5 stars because for two reasons: to reach the toilet you need to sort of cross an area of the kitchen, secondly because there... More

On a short break in London from oop t'north, so not expecting too much from an 'Indian' restaurant. What a very pleasant surprise. Excellent food and very friendly service. Definitely recommended.

My regular after work treat, thoroughly original and delicious food with great service - you won't find the usual standards here - no dopiaza and jalfrezi, just individually crafted tasty things. And BYO as an added bonus. Check out the classic Royal Oak pub opposite while you're here.

I had a good meal and payed a fair price. Not the best ever but decent. They allow you to bring your own alcohol which I believe is a great plus to visit them.

We liked the option of ordering main dishes as “sides” so we could taste more different things. We were able to try four delicious vegetarian entrees (sized as sides), 2 orders of rice, plus naan and raita for less than 24 pounds, including the 10% service charge. The service was polite and prompt. It’s BYOB if you want beer or... More
