It has been closed for several months. A new place took over the site but I have not tried it yet. If you are in the are and want a great meal go to Union Tavern
I ordered a burger at lunch time. It was literally like it was described on the menu; Burger bacon and cheese. No lettuce, tomato or anything. The waitress was rude, didn't smile and just brought the food without saying a word, or even a smile.
This place does exactly what it says on the tin! Excellent burgers and great martini cocktails. It is advisable that you get a table upstairs, the basement can get little crowded.
Great place for lunch - haven't been in the evening. Speedy and attentive service, tap water continually refilled without asking for it, quite expensive but not stupidly so, just GREAT burgers. Current special is a huge ground beef burger with pulled pork and piccalilli piled on top, in a nice bun - it's amazing - the lady said it was... More
Me and mate had planned to try out this place as this was the only place I knew to serve Wagyu beef burgers. I have to say it was a very nice environment and very modern looking The burgers where definitely very high quality but Wagyu was not on pare with other places I have visited. you will spend £25... A group of 10 of us at burgers here following drinks in town. The burgers are just ok; the sauce is rather greasy. Beers at 4.50 pounds and rude service ruined the experience. We asked to speak to the manager about our cavalier waiter, but she ignored our comments. Do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere. 2 stars... More
A friend had organised a table in the martini bar downstairs last night for birthday drinks. Funky venue - velvet walls to stroke - cool booths, Low ceilings. Good start. It's table service only - ok - wait for 20 mins before you can grab a waiter / tress - not sure who is one as not in any sort... More
We ate here on a Saturday night, 12 of us and due to knowing we would be close to their last table (11.30) made sure to book. We arrived and were seated. To be honest we had been out since mid afternoon so were all very hungry. It's a large restaurant with a bar downstairs. The menu is heavily weighted... More
We stepped in here as we stumbled upon it one night after work. We had a burger (my colleague isnt really into burgers but she loved hers). I had blue cheese burger which was to die for. Bread perfect. Make sure you purchase a side order of sweet potato fries... I could have eaten them all evening. We went before... More
Really excellent food, beer & service. Pretty expensive for a burger (£14 with chips), but then it is London... Possibly the best burger I've ever had (try the Ten Dollar Burger... amazing). Very highly recommended!
