I'm surprised I didn't review Patara after eating here in 2013...I returned during this year's Wimbledon and once again everything absolutely could NOT have been better. Upscale place but not too fancy...service is professional, food is gorgeous to look at and better to eat. This time I had tuna tartare as an app, and a duck dish as an entree.... More

I ate here with my 3 grown up sons last night and we had the most wonderful tasty meal. The food looked and tasted amazing, full of wonderful flavours; and despite one reviewer saying the portions were small, we certainly didn't find that. The staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with a relaxed atmosphere.... More

The starters were lovely (spring rolls and satay chicken), but we could not believe how little was on the plate when the mains came. They were smaller than the starters! We were part of the 'early bird' offer by eating at 6.15pm, but that should not affect how much you get, and the bill still came to £40 (including 1... More

I've never tried Thai food, so it was my first time. After visiting "Patara" I fell in love with Thai food! The food was incredible, really delicious, the stuff was kind and welcoming (we haven't booked a table) and the atmosphere is calm and nice. I recommend this restaurant to everybody who wants to spend a pleasant evening with a... More

Well, easy to find on the Fulham Road, just between the Royal Marsden hospital and Sydney Street. Inside is laid out in a nicely sympathetic way. Tables close but not jammed in like some places. Restaurant is on the corner of a block so plenty of light. Menu offers plenty of choice for all. At the back there was a... More

Walked in without a reservation - staff were kind enough to accommodate us after a short wait. The starters were nice - we ordered the Tom Yum Goong & mixed spring rolls which were really nice. The main course was average - the green curry was the wrong constancy and the flavors were not right. The Lobster Pad Thai was... More

Excellent food, delicate flavours, good staff, all in all a worthwhile place. Only gripe would be lack of tablecloths.

Patara used to be a very good Thai and was able to produce the same quality in four different locations across London. It is still ok, but strongly declined in the past few years. Obviously the prices being the same it is now overpriced . Colors nice presentations are still there but no longer the freshness and the high quality... More

Well everything went well until the final course, when a mouse ran across the floor of the restaurant. The waitress said she'd tell the manager, who then proceeded to bring more customers downstairs. Clearly they were aware of the problem and carried on regardless. Now concerned about the standards of cleanliness & will be notifying environmental health.
