This was my first lunch in London on my most recent visit to the city and I thoroughly enjoyed the pies and the ciders. There were so many beverage options that it was hard to choose just one, and I wish I had gone back to try some more! I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a good bite... More

Have now dined here twice, both times superb! On both occasions we ordered a jug of cider then a starter - main. The menu is very imaginitive, hints of the West Country with several game/rural dishes, the staff are very cheerful, informative, and polite, all in all a lovely place to dine in central London.

I've been going to Chimes on and off for years, but never thought to write a review about it. Then last week I went in and was charged a surprising amount for my snack and a glass of house wine. I didn't bother querying it, but the waitress brought me a refund a few minutes later with an explanation and... More

Good place and good food, in a typical British style. In a very calm area near to the Pimlico station. Kind waiters and quick service. You can eat a variety of English dishes - even vegetarian - and select your crafted cider choosing among many brands and types. Value for money.

I come to Chimes every time I come to London. Didn't know I needed a reservation which disturbed me a bit...never needed one before. But, the pies were stupendous! Which more than made up for having to sit up front. Will come again.

Very very average, service awful, for the first time ever I asked for the service charge to be removed. Took ages to ask us If we wanted a drink and didn't ask again, didn't get asked if we enjoyed the meal and if they would have asked would have told them nooooooo. Pies were ok that's the best i can... More

My wife and I have been coming to Chimes for decades. Sadly, last night was the last time we'll eat there. Chimes has always been known for excellent ciders - long before the current popularity of the drink. At the front you have a very pleasantly "shabby" decor which is perfect for a glass or two. As you are enjoying... More

My wife and I made a few trips here while renting a flat nearby. Great little spot for an evening note a&p. One of the best selection of ciders on tap. That's hard cider for our American friends. Very good stuff. The staff are friendly, the other customers are great. I would drop buy again next time.

We went here for our first dinner in London and we weren’t disappointed! Very tipical place and perfect atmosphere. Great meal, various selection of meat and pies. The food was very tasty, well prepared and served. There were a lot of cider’s variety. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. I recommend Chimes if you want to try British... More
