Went for lunch and had their lunch menu. Nice environment, uncomplicated but sophisticated. Amuse was a pumpkin soup with hazelnuts. Was interesting, but as an amuse, was not particularly successful, broth could have been a little more concentrated. My Starter was their winter vegetables with truffle supplement. Nicely composed dish, clean concentrated flavors. For mains, I had their beef rump... More

Had drinks with friends in the champagne bar in the front of the restaurant. Excellent service and stunning champagnes as listed below a) Jacquesson, Dizy b) Egly-Ouriet, Ambonnay (my favourite !!) c) Emmannuel Brichet, Viller-Aux-Noeuds. If you like champagne then this place is a must!

Overly priced meal which was very disappointing to the extent have no desire to return . My fish dish was overcooked and dry. That said the room was lovely and the staff were very attentive. Shame.

We booked in for the lunch tasting menu for our 5th anniversary. We opted for matching wine too. The cost of a meal here far exceeds what we would usually spend (we saved especially for the occasion) but it was definitely worth treating ourselves as a one off! Delicious food with well matched wines, even the nibbles at the start... More

My wife and I visited Texture for dinner recently. I was looking forward to trying something new and exciting. We each had the Christmas tasting menu which included Herring, Salmon, Crab, Venison and a dessert. Overall the food was very good - in some cases excellent. The crab and the vension were each up there with the best dishes we... More

Wonderful ambience, the whole experience reflected the title of the restaurant, Texture. So many natural "accessories" like fabulous fresh flowers, lovely drift wood and very touchable pebbles on the table. The food was excellent, very tasty but without being over facing or too rich. You felt like you'd had a wonderful meal without being too naughty! Staff were very attentive... More

I went here last week for a friends birthday meal and haven't stopped speaking about it since. I arrived early so had a cocktail at the bar. The waiter was very friendly and spent time talking to me about my day and seemed genuinely interested. Overall the meal and service made this night one to remember. It was a truly... More

Just to start...I'm a foodie...for context I eat in Michelin starred restaurants 2-3 times a year in London and abroad. We went for a friends birthday. Drinks in the bar were nice, initial drinks served promptly but then hard to get service attention after that. Moved to the restaurant and opted for the seafood tasting menu. The first course was... I ate here on Friday night, having travel down from the North of England and was looking forward to having the Tasting Menu. However, the only two choices were the fish Tasting Menu and a Christmas Menu –with lots of fish on it. I asked about this and got a very curt reply that I could choose from the Al... More
