We've had Chinese food in San Francisco, Manhattan, New Jersey, and Washington DC, and we liked this food the best. The decor is nothing special, but the food is fresh and not overly seasoned. We had a dim sum plate, wonton soup, egg fried rice and a chicken/brocolli dish. We are not restaurant critics, but we know what we like.... More

The Dim Sum was good. The service was friendly and welcoming to our young children. An enjoyable family meal. I would recommend this place for a families on a sunday afternoon.

Went there based on a friends recommendation and Trip Advisor. We had the Chef Special. The coconut soup with prawns was very tasty. The scallops fresh, the curry with lemongrass fantastic. Loved it. Friendly service.

We had the set menu for £18 per person with extra dim sum and it was plenty of food . I was impressed with the freshness of the produce, every dish was lovely. We had the jasmine tea which was nice but didn't have a lot of flavour and we did drink a lot of it.The service was good, the... More

It is always difficult to choose the restaurant while being in Chinatown - there are too many. But I would still consider coming back there for dim-sum. It was freshly made and great in taste. I took it as a starter, and I regret that I did not continue with other kinds of dim-sum in order to fill in my... More

Was tempted in by a set-menu which looked promising enough.. What arrived at the table was; - gloopy thick hot & sour soup with a massive vinegar taste - sweet n sour pork which was 99% batter 1% pork in another gloopy (no doubt tinned) sauce - some weird beef in red wine (at a chinese restaurant??) sauce, which tasted... Not impressed... Had the duck in black bean which was so overpowering with spices that I couldn't make out if the meat was duck or not... All up We had two meals that were under ten pound each, plain jasmine rice for two and a " bottle" of Blenheim water for two and the bill came to £32 ...was given... More

As a regular customer of Chinatown this is my favourite restaurant ever. Looking at the menu you can tells that the management team did spent time thinking what are best for their customer instead of selling the same thing as the nearby restaurant. Dim sum are freshly made to order without disappointment. I can guarantee that there is no other... More

This is my favourite restaurant in London's Chinatown, to which I return regularly. The food is all in Haozhan. It has a simple, down-to-earth atmosphere and furnishings. The service is polite and accomplished. The menu is not extensive but there are usually one or two specials or interestingly different dishes available.

Around 2:00, while racing through Soho's Gerard Street Chinatown, I was looking for a quick bite to eat. I hadn't realize just how popular Dim Sum restaurants had become, and after about the fourth venue, the sign outside Haozhan caught my eye with its nice pictures of plates of Dim Sum, and prices from 2.80. Just had two dishes, shrimp... More
