My fiancée took me here for lunch to celebrate our '2 years in London'. Lunch was very good, although not particularly overwhelming. We have been a couple of times to Marcus Wareing and Marcus (the new restaurant), The Ledbury and The Greenhouse. We did not think this was as outstanding as some of the fore mentioned. The venue is nice... More

I came here for lunch with a few friends the other week and the food was amazing! We had the set lunch time menu, and all had different things. Delicious food and great wine! Will be back!

I always enjoy honest reviews, so this is honest on what we found. Starting with sliding on the wooden floor, which was slippery for ladies shoes. The bread was very mediocre for this quality of restaurant (Michelin 2 stars). Appetisers were nice but not special very cheese biassed. We asked for an explanation of the menu (only tasting) & were... More

I had a very good dinner here on my birthday in June. Service was french in the best possible sense, effortlessly smooth; topping up flawless. There was a lot of thought put into every stage of the meal, a super foie gras cornet particularly memorable. There were a few dishes which i felt worked better than others ( the pork... More

There is very little to criticise about our meal at Hibiscus, but nor was there anything to write home about and I agree with other reviewers that there was no stand-out dish. We found the service to be exemplary, as you'd expect in a 2-starred restaurant and all of the staff we dealt with were friendly and approachable. One of... More

My fourth visit to this outstanding restaurant and standards are as high as ever. Certainly the most enjoyable dining experience in London. Food and Service better than outstanding there are not enough superlatives to describe Hibiscus. If you want to treat someone or just enjoy fabulous food go there.

Decided to celebrate my wife's birthday with a couple of friends at the Chef's Table with no real knowledge of what it would be like so we were slightly apprehensive but we needn't have worried! The experience, from start to finish, was outstanding and excellent value to boot! (the price per head is only slightly more than eating in the... More

Went for husbands birthday treat so card from the chef was a nice touch. We had the 6 courses and loved the flavours and subtle cooking. It was fish heavy but the turbot and crab were outstanding. My husband loved the scallop and he hates scallops! The goose was so flavoursome and the pudding exquisite. There was plenty of bread... More

We had the tasting menu in a private room. The service was good, but the menu lacked a stand out dish, and I'm afraid that the portions were so small that many of us left hungry. If you really like fish, and have a small stomach, this could be the place for you, but if you have a good appetite,... More

My first visit to Hibiscus taking the £120 per head long format menu du marche. I can only say that based on my experience the food and service easily met expectations for a 2 star restaurant. The variety of food, quality of ingredients, presentation, and service, was first class. I have a passing interest in wine and found the somellier... More
