Great Macaroons !!

This place is just great for Macaroons. I only bought 6 different flavoured Macaroons. Not the cheapest but the quality is excellent!! Good for 2-3 days. It is not too sweet and the kind of crispness on the surface is just right. Inside gives you that very slight sticky parts which makes the real... read more

Laduree in Covent Garden is different from the one in Paris and Kuwait, but equally as good. The waiters were very attentive and helpful and the tea was delicious, if too much! However, we took away what we couldn't eat. It was a pleasure to meet the general manager and to tell him what a lovely experience we had.

We dropped by Laduree for coffee and cakes on 11 August 2015 at 4.00 p.m., and although the coffees arrived relatively quickly, the cakes took forever to arrive to the extent I had to personally go over to the Counter to ask where our cakes were. The water which we requested, also never made an appearance at our table. The... More

Unfortunately, our expectations for a lovely meal were not met by today's dining experience. It started with having a waiting line that was not being managed very well (not sure what the queue order was) we waited over twenty minutes (probably more like 25-30) to be seated..however this was explainable by the small seating area inside. Our food was very... More

Yes, it's true, prices are slightly too expensive, but...it's Laduree, in Harrods: it's posh and it's a lovely place with good service. Furthermore macaroons and cakes are delicious. The only shame is that they charge even for the hot water top up...

This is a lovely place which I have revisit on many occasions. The pastries are lovely and the service is decent. I like that all the servers are able to converse in French as well. They have recently started charging for hot water top up, which I think is a bit cheeky, especially as the pots of tea are not... More

A bit of a let down as far as a taste of the cakes, cannot really compete with some of the local patisseries.

I visited Laduree to try out some macarons and I was not disappointed! You get the feeling as though you have walked off the streets of Paris into a pastel heaven! If you are left wanting more, you can always delve further into Harrods where you will find a stationery department selling Laduree merchandise!

Having waited to be seated for 20 mins we were seated outside, having asked for a highchair 3 times one eventually arrived 15 mins later, then we ordered afternoon tea but after a few minutes the waiter came back and said that it was not available so just to choose a few cakes and drinks, not the afternoon tea experience... Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
