This is the second time I visited this place and i am disappointed. I had a good first impression so i returned with some friends. Food presentation:poor, waiter: bored, food:decent. It was mid week so maybe that is why the whole thing looked dull.

My favourite is the enjera bread, it is sour and served with an incredible mince meat sauce. never tasted anything like this before. I'd recommend it.

I dined at Addis with my niece and two of her university friends. I have never eaten Ethiopian food before, so it came as a new experience. The dishes were all very individual, cooked in distinctive spice mixtures and served on a large bed of Enjera bread. Excellent value at about ten pounds per person.

It was an experience to go for a new cuisine. The dish we have chosen is a selection of all kind, served on a big plate with sour dough base and the chicken, lamb and veggie dishes put in the middle, tearing of some dough and using it with your hands to pick it is unusual but very authentic. The... More

Bit spicier than expected but fun and good. Great to eat with friends. We ended up there because it was hard to find a table but we were not disappointed and when we left the place was full!

Ethiopia and food isn’t really a natural connection you’d make however it was one I experienced a few weeks back on Caledonian Road, Islington, North London. Aside from some very politically incorrect jokes made, the night was actually very enjoyable and priced very reasonably with wine, food, beer including a sharing platter and mains coming in under £50! The meal... More

Both veggies and food is really nice, beware though they do have fish listed as veggie. The bread that you eat with is unique but delicious. Like other reviews I felt the waitress could have been more useful when we asked for some direction. Service was fast but it was a quiet time (2pm).

We dropped in here for late dinner on Friday with one of our grown-up sons who is mainly vegetarian. It was my second visit, and the food was as good as I remembered - very tasty and different to the 'run of the mill' you get at other places. Yes it is not top class cuisine, but well worth a... I went here while I was travelling on my own through London, and was expecting an injera with all kinds of different little 'side dishes', as I believe is common (I've had this in other Ethiopian restaurants). However, the 'mixed dish' injera is only available for two persons. So I choose the injera with doro wot (a traditional dish), instead.... More

This is not the first time i have had ethiopean food and I would say that the chef is 100% authentic because he does everything like the best Ethiopean restaurants. I would recommend it.
