Good steak restaurant

Good steak restaurant that is reasonably priced. Nice drinks. Burger worth an honorable mention. Would return again

My husband has visited a number of times with friends and always had tasty steak so we decided to visit during a family visit into The West End. Our children chose burger and club sandwich whilst my husband had ribeye and I sirloin steak. The children enjoyed their meals but my husband and I were disappointed with our food. The... More

Sammac010, thank you for your review. We were very pleased and not at all surprised that your 10-year old thoroughly enjoyed the Bountyburger, because that puts him in the discerning league of a number of professional restaurant critics who love them as well. I am sorry that one of your steaks on our Steakboard Special seemed a bummer-- rump steaks... More

My colleague had been before and thought it would be worth another visit. How right he was. 1x lamb burger (really good) + 3x steak (praised highly) = 4x very satisfied customers. Service was very good, coffee was good and the main course were excellent.

Went here for steaks after work with my husband, and it was great. Steak was cooked exactly how I asked (rare), the chips were lovely, and the wine was really good to boot. The house merlot was the perfect partner for our food. I had my steak with goat cheese, and it was beautiful. The space itself was also very... More

From the friendliness of our host to the excellence of the aged rump, this was the perfect meal for the steak hungry!

The food is very average. The soup of the day was horrible, frozen vegetables, tasteless chicken... The fillet stake was 2/5. Definitely not coming back

Beers on tap and a big range of beefy choices should do wonders for a restaurant especially as foodies become ever more vocal, but by serving flat beer (again) and burgers cooked on a badly cleaned/seasoned gas grill (again) with chips from a freezer bag it’s no wonder it was quiet at lunch time. That horrible metallic taste has stayed... More

The BC is only a couple of minutes from Holborn tube in a very unassuming back street. The was service was excellent and a very refreshing change from the corporate chains with a very personal touch. Both had steak and I'm very pleased to say it was as good as some considerably more expensive steak focused restaurants in London. Also... More
