Nothin' but beef! (Not really true - they have other food on the menu)

Loved the service - bare bones restaurant / pub, but the people who worked there were all very nice - very refreshing when other London restaurateurs can be a little standoffish. If you are expecting glitz and glamo(u)r, this is not your pub / restaurant (it's also tucked away down a small street... read more

The food is very average. The soup of the day was horrible, frozen vegetables, tasteless chicken... The fillet stake was 2/5. Definitely not coming back

Beers on tap and a big range of beefy choices should do wonders for a restaurant especially as foodies become ever more vocal, but by serving flat beer (again) and burgers cooked on a badly cleaned/seasoned gas grill (again) with chips from a freezer bag it’s no wonder it was quiet at lunch time. That horrible metallic taste has stayed... More

The BC is only a couple of minutes from Holborn tube in a very unassuming back street. The was service was excellent and a very refreshing change from the corporate chains with a very personal touch. Both had steak and I'm very pleased to say it was as good as some considerably more expensive steak focused restaurants in London. Also... More

Great steak, great service in this lovely back street steakhouse pub. Staff were really nice and the special offers area unbeleivble. Check their website for these deals, they are so worth it. A lovely experience, we will definitely be returning. :)

Found this Restaurant by chance. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere and tastefully designed and furnished. This restaurant specialises in beef dishes. We both ordered Ribeye steaks which were cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. I had the Eaton Mess for desert which looked fantastic and tasted even better. My wife doesn't usually have desert but asked... More

Great steak , good price. Had rib eye which was about £23. Agree comments on chips, they are not great but you are here for the steak :-)

The Food Bloggers are big on sustainability and recognise that, all other things being equal, a vegetarian diet leaves a much gentler footprint on the planet than a carnivorous one. We respect vegetarians greatly. . . but not enough to decline a good steak when it's on offer. Happily enough, a good steak is exactly what the Bountiful Cow has... More

I love this place, the food is always of high quality, must have been around 7 times now! only downside is the service! Impossible to get another drink after the 1st and lets not get started on trying to get hold of the bill! Most importantly though, is the food, which is fantastic!

Found this restaurant by accident when looking for places that do steaks. Tucked down a side street near Holborn, this place is nothing to look at on the outside. Inside upstairs is a bar which seemed pleasant enough and a few tables. The main restaurant is down stairs. Glass front to the kitchen which is a nice touch. However, this... More
