First thing - come hungry! This is a really nice pub, hidden a minute walk from Holborn station. The food here is based mainly on beef, as you can understand and the portions are very, very generous. I had the 400gr rump steak, which is not easy to do well, and it was done perfectly. the burgers are very big... More

We were a table of 11 booked on a Saturday night before Christmas and I'm afraid it was not a good experience. After fairly decent starters the steaks themselves were a real let down. Only two of the 3 of the 11 of us got a decent steak (those who chose fillet or sirloin), everyone else's was chewy and though.... More

Been a few times now and this is definitely a top spot for a top steak in London. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed making it perfect for any situation. I've felt comfortable whilst entertaining clients and also able to really unwind with family and friends. Service has been impeccable each and every time - very attentive to our needs.... More

Definately worth a visit. Situated in a backstreet in Holborn, but very busy. Book a table if possible, but staff managed to fit us in on a saturday night. Excellent steaks. Very good dessert!

We went there with friends and it is a very popular place - which can be a bit annoying since you are constantly nudged in the back by people trying to shove past your table. Saying this, the food was extremely good. Service was prompt - especially given the popularity. It is rather on the expensive side with all sides... More

Having found the Bountiful Cow restaurant online we decide to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary with a night in London & a nice steak dinner. On arrival we both agreed it was a nice intimate little restaurant & as we were a little early we had a drink at the bar first. The restaurant has a basement which accommodates larger... More

When The Bountiful Cow opened in 2005, we proudly proclaimed "the finest steaks at pubby prices." This October we thought it was about time we proved it. We did a study, which produced a chart showing beef prices at The Bountiful Cow compared to ten other popular steak houses not far away that have opened more recently. We keep a... More
