I've been to Casa Mia twice now, once for lunch and, last night, for dinner. Both times I have found the staff to be attentive and friendly with the owner clearly in charge to make the place run smoothly, even when full, as it was last night. The food at Casa Mia is well cooked Traditional Italian. The portions are... More

Friendly and welcoming, good service even on a busy Saturday evening. Very good selection with good range of vegetarian dishes. Olives, dips, bread and butter supplied as soon as you sat down and surprisingly were free. Tasty food at a very reasonable price. Looking forward to a return visit.

We were home in London for the summer and didn't pl‎an dinner so just drove to Hatch End as I knew there were some trendy alfresco restaurants and bars. Unfortunately most were closing up or not particularly accommodating so we noticed a nice looking Italian across the road. My mrs likes to go to places that look relatively busy and... More

Casa Mia is in the middle of Hatch End, in a run of similar restaurants catering to this quite upscale London suburb. It's warm and inviting as are most traditional Italian restaurants and its menu is recognisably Mediterranean with a good selection of fish and pasta dishes and a small but satisfactory wine list. Service was as variable as the... More

We held a small wedding celebration here this afternoon. The staff could not have been more helpful - they were lovely and made us very welcome. We all had the early bird menu which was fantastic value and the food was great. I don't understand the unfavourable reviews on this restaurant - our experience was very, very different and I... Staff were sullen and unfriendly. They didn't appear to understand English particularly well or even know that they offered Prosecco on the wine list. When we complained that we had been waiting bemore than an hour for our main course there was no excuse offered or even an apology. The waitress serving came close to elbowing my friend in the... We went for Father's Day and were disappointed with all the food. The calamari was chewy and the batter not crispy, the tomatoes on the bruschetta were tasteless, the pasta was over-cooked - in particular the porcini mushroom pesto tagliatelle tasted more of tomato than mushrooms and the pizzas were average. All the food was poorly presented. No butter on... More

Perhaps the format of this restaurant is a little old fashioned but its ok. Good value and classic Italian menu

Went with my husband. The restaurant was extremely busy but the friendly waitress showed us to available table. Lovely service, little free olives and bread on the table. I had crespolini, the dish was a little hot and i burnt my mouth slightly, that said, when it cooled down it was very very nice. We had fresh parmagarni put on... More

Chose Casa Mia for an early-bird dinner and each of our party of six chose the fixed price menu. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and only a few tables were taken by the time we left.Service was courteous and efficient and the choice from the menu appealing. However, whilst some dishes were quite good (the crespelle) many of... More
