Delicious food, atmosphere lacking

Maroush II serves really good Mediterranean food. During our ten days in London, we ate at Maroush once and it's sister restaurant, Beirut Express, just three days later. Have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years now and I have never left disappointed. For so many reasons I love this place. Not only is the food superb and very fresh, with amazing flavours. But this restaurant goes all out to make sure you are happy. They remember all their customers, even know what you order and... More

Delicious food. Used to visit at least once a week when I lived very nearby. You can sit upstairs in the smarter area (white table clothes etc) or downstairs in the very casual deli. The menu is the same in both so it really is personal preference. It also has a bar which is great if you're eating alone.

We had a fabuolous meal here with friends from Belgium! Our friends were visiting from Antwerp where there are no Lebanese restaurants and the choice was even better as one friend was vegetarian so the choice of MAROUSH was perfect as the variety of vegetarian dishes is second to none. We sat in the conservatory area on the first floor... More

the best Lebanese food in london, good service resonably priced. This is one of a number of fantastic restaurants in london. It is advisable to book because they can get quite busy.

I can't use a different word than Pilgrimage. I used to come here i the early '00s. After more than 10 years, I experienced again the spectacular flavour of the lamb kebab that surpasses any other lamb dish I've had in my life. At late evening, this place is a get together of high-class people, and jeans-nike teens, all surrounding... More

The starters mezza were great. Liked the roast chicken with rice. The kofta was just ok. And their icecream was just average. I would go back there again. We went in the evening and had to wait for a table. The service was nice but slow. Good value for money.

We found this place while walking through the neighborhood and they invited us in. It was the best meal ever! Never tried hummus this good, the wraps are absolutely amazing with meat super tender. The service is superb. Will definetely come back, worth every penny.

I love their Chicken Shwarma with garlic sauce - real authentic Lebanese food and well priced for the quality you are getting!

I've been coming to Maroush in Beauchamp Place for over 25yrs and unlike most restaurants you visit regularly I have never had a disappointing meal... Always delicious and always with courteous and friendly service... Its grown over the years, but still kept its charm. Order a lamb sandwich, falafel and fattoush... Washed down with a melon juice... So good we... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
