A group of us went here at the weekend and we did not need to book. That in itself would usually make me wary but it was fine. The food here is very good; the menu is decent and even if you want anything off menu it does not seem to be a major issue. All the dishes that we... More

Modern, trendy and refreshing décor, and not traditional curry house theme. Service was friendly, and food quality and presentation were fine. Do not accept credit cards, which was a nuisance

After a long journey back home we decided to go here for dinner. It was exactly what we needed. Had sharing plate to start, and then the slow cooked lamb. It was all delicious, and the service was wonderful. We had 3 courses and two bottle of beer, came to £60 with service

Was invited to this restaurant with a large party and we all raved about it. A tastefully decorated place with attentive service. Food all came out the same time, no awkward waiting you usually get with large groups. I had the shank, melts in your mouth with a tasty sauce. Mmmm. All of the other meals were huge and looked... Wanting a quick evening meal on my own I was recommended this lovely restaurant. The tandoori chicken was HUGE portions and succulent too! The salad served with it was beautifully presented and dressed (not the usual shredded lettuce) The waiters were impeccable and polite. The prices even better. HIGHLY recommend ! Kate from Bedford

Not knowing the area we chanced upon a fantastic evening meal in this restaurant. Staff were friendly, attentive and a waiter recommended my mum & sisters main course. I went for a lamb passanda which I thoroughly recommend. The poppadoms, sauces & onion bhaji were delicious too. We weren't rushed at all, and spent a lovely evening there.

The reviews about the shockingly rude manager refer to the actual owner who doesn't go there any more. I am sorry about this, as an evening with Mr Nasty is one of the funniest experiences Camberwell had to offer. The current manager calls him Basil and told me that he took the job on assurance that Basil would not set... More

The menu is interesting and very well priced. The service was brilliant. The sag paneer was divine - the best that I have had outside of India. I would travel to London just to eat here again

Manager was the most unprofessional and rude individual I have ever encountered. He first aggressively questioned what I was doing at the counter even though I walked through the open door. He said I could not order till 6pm, this was at 5.58pm, so I sat patiently while he looked at the calender on the computer. I then asked could... More

If you are thinking about heading to Safa for night out, don't !!! Here are the reasons: 1. Order took over an hour to come 2. They didn't have half the food on the menu in the restaurant, simple stuff like tandoori chicken. 3. When the food did come there were gaps in bringing out different peoples food of 20... More
