We love this place as it has round tables a must when 6 or more are at dinner. The sushi is excellent and is reasonably priced. Having been to zooma in Knightsbridge I can happy tell you that this little restraint beats it by a mile.

Went here the other night with family, after a recommendation from a friend, and was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious as well as being presented very nicely. We choose four dishes to share between four of us and worked out perfectly. Very reasonable prices and didn't break the bank. Will definitely be returning again... More

I'm a fan of japanese food, specially sushi. So I'm constantly looking to try in different places, but I haven't found a place like Makiyaki. First, the food quality is amazing, and it gets better: the prices are really good. Yesterday I went with my partner and we spent around 20 pounds, which it's good for lots of food we... More

A friend of mine raved about this place so we finally gave it a try and what a great recommendation. The menu is vast and you are stuck as to what to choose. I had the California roll, a lightly fried spicy tuna roll and a couple of other rolls and all were absolutely delicious. I've been a few times... More

I visited is place with a friend of mine who lives near by She's been talking about how amazing this Sushi place is and it's quite unique. I had to give this place a go. We visited in mid January and this place really did live up to the hype. The 'maki' selection was superb. Especially the combination with cheese.... More

Great place to go & eat, personally I think this is one of the best places for lunch as they do the famous Japanese bento boxes with a huge array of fillings; sushi, tempura etc. Or if you want to eat at the Sushi bar & drink cold Kirin, the staff are more than happy for you to do so!... More

A couple of nights ago my friend and I decided to have something other than sushi.....was left slightly disappointed - I had the chicken and garlic salad - dressing was delicious the rest was meh, my friend had the crab and vegetable udon... A very safe menu with a large number of cooked dishes and rice that's never overcooked but can be a bit underseasoned. Nevertheless, the quality is dependable and it all tastes good. It's also the best of its type for a decent distance.

Went here on a rainy evening to satisfy our Japanese food craving and came away very pleased. Service was polite and very quick. We ordered the chef's special sushi and sashimi platter which was excellent; thick slices of good quality fish, we were very happy to be given fatty tuna! Our mains came quickly. The Udon was a little al... More
