I have been organising Christmas Parties, for a large group of my friends (around 30 of us) for 7 years now and I can say with my hand on my heart, this is the best venue we have ever celebrated in. The food was delicious, the staff were fantastic and the whole event was so well organised that I find... More

About a dozen of us met in one of The Hoop's rooms to hear a new comedy show run-through and the manager Mike and staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful. The pub is warm, friendly with a great selection of beers and wines (house wines were excellent) and a real gem on Farringdon. There is also heated... More

I wonder how many times I have either walked straight past this place or been within tasting distance of a cracking pint that they serve here. Lovely pub as tucked away as you can be in central London. Great staff , great ranges of ales and continental beers and seemingly good choice of food with plenty of diners. No food... More

We came here when it was quite empty. I asked if I could watch a German soccer game and the waitress did not hesitate to turn on the game. The service was lovely, beer tasty and atmosphere very nice. I will most definitely visit this place again during my next stay in London.

I had my 30th at the Hoop and Grapes a couple of months ago in the function room on the 1st floor. Mike was great, calling me to double check arrangements a couple of days before, clearing the space of tables to make a dance floor and setting up the hifi. We had use of the terrace and a private... I run a monthly event that takes place at the H&G, and have always been really impressed both with the service and drinks available. There's a very good selection of beers and ales, and some very nice spirits as well, including some excellent whiskies. I haven't eaten there, so I can't speak about the food, but I'd definitely be willing... More

We were just leaving from our holiday apartment for our flight and wanted to have one more meal before heading to the airport. Thanks to TA we found this nice and friendly place. The location is busy and noisy but inside it's just a cozy local pub. Fantastic service, quick kitchen, nice pub food. Would certainly return if ever had... More

Generally speaking I find it hard to distinguish between traditional pubs in London but Hoops and Grapes really stood out for me - mainly because of how well we were looked after. I booked a function room last night to play poker and on arrival we had a table set up in one of the function rooms with all the... More
