Quirky and has GF options

Coffee was good and GF options are very welcome, but not as tasty as GF crumble in wetherspoons just mere steps away. Hubs had some chocolate cake and was not impressed, that wasn't a GF option. Today we got some organic eggs for £1, which is a bargain, hopefully the yolks will be bright orange. I... read more

Excellent coffee, good prices. Pastries looked delicious and the interior is quirky and fun, with a take one leave one library.

I always look forward to visiting The Broca. The coffee is very good, I like it strong so I usually ask for an extra shot. I like that they give you a choice of size as sometimes I feel like a bucket of cappuccino and occasionally a little Americano. You also get to pick sizes in between which I am... More

I'm a local. Great coffee, always served by someone lovely. I'm enjoying the recent re-arrangment of mis-matching, charmingly-impractical furniture. Best place in Brockley for a light lunch or breakfast and much more soul than Brown's next-door (coffee's great in there too, but it's always felt a bit lifeless compared to the Broca to me personally). Love the health-food shop over... More

Quick, sharp and short review of a lovely place I stumbled across and will be frequenting from here on in! Seating - trying to be hip, more like hop as tables are too low and seating is too sticky when warm inside and some of the chairs would barely fit a child. Coffee - needs improving, it's all fresh but... More

Nice little coffee shop. Definitely worth popping your head in through the door - more to it than meets the eye! Nice hot brews, perfect Saturday morning treat.

Have been coming here since it opened and I love Broca. Really nice place to chat or just to chill out ... good coffee, cake and they're wonderful freshly made wraps.

This great little cafe is right outside Brockley station and is a great place to drop in for a coffee and delicious piece of cake. There is an honesty library available and the place has a relaxed and laid back feel to it. Popular with students, parents and urbanites of all ages this is a lovely place to relax, admire... More

I only wish this place was on Honor Oak Park..then it would be close enough that I would go every weekend! One of the best cooked breakfasts I've had in a long time, even the coffee was really good. I had a full english breakfast but need to go back for cakes - I was too full to try any.... More

Nice quirky cafe. Has lovely rooms and nice garden area. Lots of veggie options. Can be a bit pricey but is worth it.
