Went here at the weekend with a friend for late lunch. A really good experience. Service and ambiance fantastic and def a one-off opportunity to dine to this level so close to such a traditional and high standing retail establishment - very buzzy and 'happy ' vibe Service excellent and to a high standard. Food def above average but not... More

Beautiful restaurant that was elegant and regal. You feel very special dining here. Great food and of course amazing tea I had the Royal Blend. After thinking I had an allergic reaction to potentially pineapple in my meal I alerted the very kind staff and they did their utmost to ensure that the chef is certain there was no pineapple... Mocha and fruit tart - what made this special was the pretty surroundings really. Service was a little slow but the candy colours and retro feel made it a pleasant place to sit. Choice of pastries a bit limited for somewhere you would expect to have all bases covered. The mocha came with a dinky (and very delicious) ice cream... More

This was a family occasion, booked on-line. Having dined at F&M previously we were expectant of good service, calm atmosphere and very good food. At this early August date (2014), we were not disappointed! Selecting from the All-Day Menu at the Gallery Restaurant, we mostly chose fish dishes, Salmon, and, Plaice - the latter in particular was really well presented... More

Went there with my Father today for his 65th birthday, the staff were fabulous, food delicious and such a great ambience of people happily chatting, enjoying excellent service. Such a treat, would definitely recommend.

I went there two times and enjoy the atmosphere, a bit like Disneyland. There are a fair number of choices on the menu, some gluten-free. Tables are quickly crowded with plates, cups and glasses.

We walked in without a reservation for tea and ice cream. The attention to detail is superb. Everything is so pretty, the staff is friendly and its a fun break from the business of London. A landmark stop as you will see Fortnum and Mason all over London. You can buy the teas and jams at the airport and not... More

We use Fortnums a lot when we are in London. Afternoon tea in Gallery, breakfast in Fountains and light lunches in the 1707 bistro downstairs. My wife was on a "shop" so I went for a coffee in Gallery. It was virtually empty but I was initially shown an out of the way table but objected and got a decent... More

Is this the name for the Gallery Restaurant? Can't find it on this listing. Tables very close together. Service very slow - had to ask for mains twice (even though it was early when we got there) I think they forgot, had to ask for another glass of champagne THREE times. My food was average - veal was quite greasy... More
