Great night out at very nice restaurant. Saw the advert on the underground before going to meet some friends to go out and then they suggested to go there, so thought yes sounds great! Very good service and help from the staff. The idea of Thalis is very novel and was great that they showed pictures etc. to know what... More

We visited this branch too! Greeted with an inviting smell of curry, big bowl of fresh flowers and polite staff. Clean toilets and you can watch the chefs working. Service was fast and food delivered within 15 minutes. Ordered a variety of dishes and was pleasently surprised with all the different tastes of herbes and spices. Each dish was full... More

Not the most wallet-friendly of restaurants but greatly enjoyed my meal. We had the chef's special of the day which,if I recall correctly, was the Punjabi thali, food was very tasty and portions decent. Loved the modern decor and the illuminated trees outside bring a nice feel to the place. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Although the place is packed they still look after everybody and their needs. Nice people and good food. Not cheap but not at all exagerated.

When I first arrived the place looks fresh and trendy, we then got shown to a table which was practically adjacent to the only other diners in what was an empty resteraunt! We asked to be moved to give both them and us some space. The first waitress we had was somewhat rude, while the second was polite and friendly.... More

A big cavern of a restaurant with, gloomy interior with some outdoor seating, Outside it advertises "A Real Taste of India" . Having been to India several times North and South and eaten in many restaurants there I feel this is a very questionable statement! Nice greeting on arrival and quickly shown to an outside table as requested The service and... More

I enjoyed the food at Masala Zone. There's a selection of "street food" which count as starters - I had some crispy prawns which were delicious. Then I had a thali which is a selection of small dishes, which I hadn't eaten before but enjoyed. Fast service made it perfect for a pre-movie visit.

My daughter says London chain restaurants are generally very good and our experience at MZ in Angel certainly supports that idea. We ordered one combo and a second main. Everything came at once and that was a bit of a disappointment, but all items were tasty and hot. For me, I would not order a platter in the future because... More

I actually visited this place quite some Time Ago. I didn't like it much. Flavours were poor, no real taste to food... Service was good. Presentation was good. So can not say it was all bad

visited this restaurant for dinner having read a few reviews and it was close to where we were staying... the service was rather abrupt, although efficient. The menu was quite distinctive and I was happy for a change to see less 'standard Indian fare' and interesting alternatives. On the whole the food was pleasant, and although one dish was quite...
