Description: At Ma Goa Restaurant, my Mother and her team prepare their favourite dishes using family recipes passed downthe generations. Our menu takes inspiration from the beautiful palm fringed region of Goa (where my Ma learnt to cook) but also takes influences from other parts of India.Since its opening in 1993, we have won critical acclaim from many top critics & we take pride in the fact that we are a genuine family-run restaurant. Our mission has always been to serve tasty, fresh, unpretentious home-style cooking in a warm & friendly setting.Situated 2 minutes away from Putney British Rail & 5 minutes away from East Putney Tube it makes a perfect venue before a night on the town. We also offer a popular take-away & free local delivery service & a party catering service. We look forward to welcoming you to Ma Goa soon.

We spent a few days in Putney as a starting base for sightseeing in London. Ma Goa was just around the corner and based on TripAdvisor always the first choice for an Indian meal. Reservation worked well, we had a good table, service was nice, quick and efficient. Starters and main courses were excellent and plenty. I can especially recommend... More

Me and my friends weren't sure where to go for dinner and when we stumbled upon ma goa we were astonished by how none of us had been there before. The food is delicious and the staff very friendly and attentive. We asked for recommendations as it's not your usual chicken tikka/korma Indian but instead more authentic Indian cooking. We... More

I live in the neighbourhood and I go to this restaurant because it's excellent, not because of convenience. I love Indian food (and have been to India) and this is one of the best restaurants to wcich I have gone. In addition, the service is great and the staff lovely. Highly recommended (and fantstic garlice naan).

For delicious Indian dishes which stands out then I couldn't have found a better find than Ma Goa. Having my taste buds calling a good dish or two I headed in and was delighted to have been well greeted. Staff are friendly and on the ball when called. As you walk in you get the aroma of wonderful spices and... More

Visited this restaurant at the start of March after reading the raving reviews on Trip Advisor and the visit left my disappointed. Now i have to state that i have extremely high standards when it comes to Indian food as i am originally from Goa and used to home food. I did bear in mind though that the menu would... More

You are welcomed by genuinely friendly staff who know what they are talking about. The food is several leagues above a "curry house"; this is a top notch restaurant where the cooking just happens to be Indian. The ingredients are fresh, and spiced fragrantly rather than drowned with palate-numbing quantities of chili. The wine list is eclectic and good; Deepak... More

It was not too expensive, £120 for 4 with drinks and the... More

We live very locally but don't go here enough (the problem with Putney is there are so many good options). We have always enjoyed our meals here and are impressed by how it seems to get better every time. The service is good and friendly, the Cobra tastes good and the food is always fresh and tasty. Everyone I speak... More

Good food and a warm welcome even though we were a touch late. Good meal that all the party enjoyed and one that I would go back to. Spicy overall but too bad even for me.
