Friends who had visited Goa always raved about the food especially the fish dishes. My wife and I decided to try Ma Goa which have good reviews. It was our 35th Wedding Anniversary. In our mind's eye we were expecting mouth watering fish curry (we love fish curry). It was a Sunday evening and the restaurant was not too busy... More

Ate at Ma Goa several times. Is a small family restaurant with excellent service and mouth watering dishes. Be prepared for an explosion of flavours, no matter what you will order!

I went here with my husband on a Saturday evening at 7.30 and we hadn't booked. However, this was fine as long as we left the table at 8.45 which was good for us. The service was excellent and we didn't feel rushed at all. The ambience in the restaurant is really lovely, low lighting and great acoustics meant that... More

Great Indian food with good service. Have been here a couple of times but tonight was really excellent. I had the Salmon piri piri for starter and hake Goan curry for main - both courses were full of flavour and really good. Husband had Scallops special and Achari Raan and declared it delicious - the meat was cooked very well... More

We didn't recognise some of items on the menu, the waiters were extremely helpful explaining what was in each dish and how hot they were. We both enjoyed our meals very much, if we're visiting Putney in the future we will definitely go back.

Delicious, both times I've visited. Really tastes like the great food in Goa, lots of balanced spice plus lime and fruit where appropriate. Friendly and efficient service too! Busy and popular so you may be advised to book.

The food was fantastic! Authentic indian spices used and prepared very well. The Achari murgh tikka was heaven. The Porco vindaloo lived up to its reputation and the bibinca served with ice cream was to die for. The service was perfect - no hovering, yet being attentive!

The quality and service is very good for the prices. If you get only one main it could be rather cheap (around £10pp), the prices get a bit more expensive once you order side rice, bread, wine and starters (£25pp). Ther service may seem a bit slow for some people but if you are in good company time flies and... More
