It was a busy Monday lunchtime, but we were served quite quickly and found some seats in the old fireplace, which involved sitting on cushions on the floor at a very low table. Once we were in place, it was very comfortable and atmospheric. Not everybody could sit here, but we are still flexible enough....at the moment. The food was... More

I used to believe that vegetarian food was quite boring and not very tasty. However, after having visited this place several times I ended up completely changing my mind. 'Delicious' is all I have to say.

The food here is good and the lines are often long winding upstairs from the basement. The vegetarian options are hearty with very large serving sizes. The restaurant is located in a basement with limited seating options.

This cash-only place serves tasty and good value vegetarian food from a limited menu, either as a take-out service or a sit-down canteen-style restaurant downstairs. It's wholesome fare in a very basic setting which hasn't been touched in years. You sit so tightly packed together that you have to weave between tables and diners and squeeze onto your wooden stool... More

Great atmosphere, hearty and healthy veg food. And flavoursome. Many times i thought: we have to try it, but in the end something always made us change plans. But not this time. Me and my wife went down the stairs, lined up for a minute or two and got our food, a quiche with mixed salads for me and a... More

This is my favourite vegetarian/vegan spot in London. I've been going for about ten years and the standard has always been excellent. I continue to enjoy my visits and enjoy the surprise of the ever-changing menu.

Healthy, tasty, no frills, good value, no complaints! There's a nice communal feel also as the tables are shared, though I do like the little nook from time to time!

Cheap and very cheerful. Good portions, lovely flavours. Simple yet enjoyable food. I'm not even a vegetarian and I loved it! Hidden gem (thought a very busy one!)

The first time I've been to this restaurant was about 10 years ago. Nothing has changed, nothing at all! Food is always nice and I was glad to see they still make that idyllic Strawberry, banana and other red fruits scrunch. Absolutely delicious. At busy lunch time it is a bit of a stressful experience.... No time to have a... More
