I really enjoyed the vegetarian food at Food for Thought. Price is good too. Local inside is quite small and people are queing on the stairs, but in the end it is worth eating there :)

This is a very popular little place, you queue to choose and pay for food then try to find a table - which can be tricky at peak times although all customers seemed more than happy to budge up and share tables. The food is really good, great choice, excellent salads, very good prices especially considering the location. Thoroughly recommend... More

In the centre of London it's quite hard to find good food at a reasonable price. Through a local friend, we were recommended to go here. What a great experience! Everytime I go to London now, I always try to go there! It can be quite hard to find a place to seat though, other than that, perfect!

We found this place thanks to tripadvisor and we're very happy we paid a visit. We came here for dinner and the place was absolutely packed! The queue went all the way back to the door so we knew it must be good. You order and pay at the counter and then hope for a seat. Meals go for around... More

I can imagine that to take the food from this restaurant home and enjoy it in the "normal" dining room might give you much better experience than sit just aside the toilet in the very cramped room and eat there. Nevertheless there were people queuing all the time we spent there to get their fresh made meals either inside or... More

A popular restaurant with good reason. The menu is limited but all options looked delicious. I had the 'meal deal' - vegetarian masala with salad. It was delicious and filling, and sadly I had no room for dessert. The atmosphere is great - a little squashed - but everyone including the other diners seemed friendly - I guess the restaurant... Had a take-out salad from here last Sunday - normally very good. However, portion size was tiny and although it was supposed to be mixed, it was almost all of one type. I think the guy serving was in a strop with me because I was apparently queuing at the wrong side of the counter for take-out. Tried emailing the... More

If you still think that vegetarian food can't be satisfying and delicious, you will be surprised. I'm not vegetarian and I love this place! I smelled something nice on the street and followed it. Doesn't it enough?! Just don't expect to have a glass of wine or something alcoholic here and stay long: place is only for food and it's... More

Went for lunch with the family, and really liked the practical approach and simple menu on offer. There are 'combos' also on offer in case you wish to try a number of options. The bread is really nice and so are the people serving. The fact that it is small, also plays into the nice atmosphere. The reason why 4... More

Really nice vegetarian food. You go in, choose a plate or a couple of dishes, then go find a table in this cosy downstairs eatery. I recommend the Greek plate. Good value for what you get.
