Description: Elegant Japanese styling and delicious fresh food await you at London's Benihana Restaurant. Benihana is a favourite not only of tourists but of locals fresh from the nearby offices, relaxing with colleagues or indeed entertaining clients. In keeping with the Benihana brand the chain began in New York way back in 1964, this means that this year, 2014 is our 50th anniversary. This superb Japanese restaurant swaps the conventional kitchen for a central hibachi grill around which diners watch their food being prepared before their eyes. Boasting a wide range of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes traditionally cooked Benihana offers a unique Japanese dining experience not to be missed.

I was invited to a birthday dinner by my friends at Benihana's a restaurant I have always wanted to visit. It was a very memorable experience, particularly thanks to our waitress Abbey and the chef Tequila, which did their utmost to keep us entertained. The food is great with a wide array of meats that one can order. The ambiance... More

This is a great place to go especially if there is a big enough group of you to have your own table. The chef that we had was fantastic and really made an effort to make it as enjoyable as possible. The food, although not exactly cheap, is very, very good and the variety that you get is nice. We... More

This looks like a really fun restaurant to celebrate a birthday or occasion. Personally, we went with our young baby to grab a quick bite, and it wasn't ideal as baby wanted to move around and we only wanted to stay a short while so didn't even want the live cooking. However, the food was very good, service extremely friendly... More

Lovely restaurant & amazing for you to see then cooking your food at your table. It makes all the difference. Staff are ok (some if them), venue us beautiful, but you have to share your table with other guests.

I went here for lunch by myself. They actually have a menu for lunch which is a nice addition. Last time I went I was in LA and it was a nightmare. It's a very lovely environment and the food is excellent. Like I said this was just a lunch which was a take away but all in all very... More

Went to dinner here last night. Food was delicious, the chef was very entertaining and humorous. Our waiter Abby was very attentive. Worth every penny... but it is on pricey side. We would definitely go again.

Even though the restaurant wasn't lively at all for a Friday night, it was certainly not a dull night. The chefs were very interactive while cooking with pretty impressive tricks. The food was of good quality as well, which can be customised. Recommend getting the black cod and lobster tail which we thoroughly enjoyed. Only criticism could be overly priced... More

I think the other descriptions on here sum up Benihana pretty well. It is good food, good entertainment and jolly expensive. This shouldn't come as any surprise though as the menu is right there on the door. The very best thing about Benihana is the freshly prepared egg fried rice. Have it with fresh garlic and you will definitely want... More

Benihana's is an international chain of Japanese teppanake or hibachi restaurants. It's a great way to have a fun meal with your partner, friend, group of firends or even business clients and family. It is an all-round experience. The food is great and fresh. It's not just sushi - that's th whole point. The teppanake or hibachi is a hot... More
